Caravan and Motorhome Club Welcomes New Club Chair, Mark Sinclair-Watson

(2 November 2026) — The Caravan and Motorhome Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Sinclair-Watson as its new Chair, succeeding David Turner, who has stepped down following a three-year tenure. The appointment was formally announced at the Club’s recent Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Mark Sinclair-Watson brings decades of passion and dedicated leadership to the role. A member of the Club since 1992 and an avid caravanner, Mark previously served as Vice-Chair, working closely with executive leadership, directorate and governance teams to support the Club’s growth and strategic direction.

Mark’s long-standing dedication to the Club spans decades of active involvement across local Centres and regional divisions. He initially began rallying with the East Kent Centre before joining the South London Centre in 2002, where he went on to serve as both Chair and Vice-Chair. He subsequently played a pivotal role in the South East Division, holding positions as Treasurer, Vice-Chair, and Division Chair before joining the Executive Committee. Prior to his appointment as Club Chair, Mark served as Vice-Chair from October 2021 and had chaired the Sites and Accommodation Committee since November 2021.

As Chair, Mark aims to expand the Club’s reach to the next generation of outdoor enthusiasts while supporting practical sustainability efforts, including keeping pace with alternative energy developments for campsites and vehicles.
