Visit the multi-award winning World of James Herriot in Thirsk, North Yorkshire. A great day out for all the family. Explore the original house, surgery and memorabilia where Alf Wight, the most famous vet in the world, better known as James Herriot lived and worked and where he wrote his famous books which became the BBC's best loved TV series "All Creatures Great and Small". See the recently installed Channel 5 exhibition room of the 2021 new series, showing on your TV screens and photograph the life size bronze statue of Alf Wight in the beautiful garden.
