“In 2013, we attached a TyrePal system to Tinkerbelle, our Trigano Tribute. During 2015 and because the display shows individual pressures I detected an issue, one tyre reading significantly lower than normal. A trip to the garage revealed a sizeable nail. Problem solved before it became a roadside disaster.
This summer we were travelling on a busy single carriageway in County Roscommon, Ireland. The alarm suddenly went off so I pulled over to investigate. Immediately I could hear air escaping the rear offside and the monitor told me the pressure had dropped from 65 to 40 psi. Within minutes the tyre was completely flat. The bottom line is, the device certainly saved us from having to deal with a flat in the middle of the road or worse maybe, a shredded tyre, Doesn’t bear thinking about!
