Why stay here ...

This small site is situated directly on the beach in the village of Priviaka 20kms from Zadar.

There are 8 large residential units at the front of the site and 10 small touring pitches. The club's pitches consist of 2 small pitches that form together one serviced pitch.

There is also a modern clean sanitary building, a high season cocktail bar and a delightful small open pool with panoramic views overlooking the beautiful bay and islands.

The access to the site is through a maze of apartments and houses but the turquoise water with paddle boarding and kayaking make it well worth it if you want a small family run site with no frills.

Not what it look like in the book

Arcadia

I booked in here for 31 days from August, prior to arriving the club contacted us to say there maybe an issue with large caravans, however of we had a motor mover we would be fine, and given the choice to go or not. The club contacted us again however we didn't get this message as we were travelling there. On arrival the owner said that they had a problem with their chemical toilet disposal and it was out of use. There was a whiff of sewage near the top of the site. Pitch was small, A Frame jutting out into road. Cabins now take up the lower part of the site and look terrible. The smell of sewage was terrible at the pool, their septic tanks are around the pool area. Was told the chemical toilet could be 2 to 3 days before it was fixed. Stayed 4 days and left once the club said they would refund our payment. We moved to Auto Camp Tabor 800 meters along the road. Up until September you could still smell the sewage when passing. Great service from the Caravan Club as usual. This site should not be in the broucher.

Response from the Club:

Many thanks for your review and we are glad you were happy with the service from the Club. The campsite had a problem with its chemical waste disposal unit and unfortunately this resulted in some problems during the season of 2022
The site no longer offer this service and have had no problems of sewage smells during the season of 2023.
The site is a tiny site with 10 small touring pitches with clean ,modern wash and toilet facilities and direct access to the beautiful bay for swimming.
All the images on our website are correct and represent the campsite as it will be for the 2024 season.

Not As Described

Arcadia

Visited this site in June 2022. The owner has changed this site dramatically and has not updated his website or information. The pictures on this website do not reflect how it looks now. The owner has placed 8-10 chalets at the sea end of the site and it reaches up nearly to the toilet block. They are squeezed together and look like unsightly wooden crates. There is only about 7 pitches for tourers left and these are small - only about 7 metres deep. When we were there the pool was occupied with screaming kids with inflatable toys. There was also a strong smell of sewage near the pool. We expected an upmarket haven but were very disappointed. Curtailed our three nights stay to one and moved on.

Comment from the Club:

We visited this site in July and agree that the site has changed since we last visited it in 2018. It now has 8 large residential units at the front of the site - (Croatian law 40% of the site is allowed to be accommodation and 60% pitches so this will not now change). Otherwise there are 10 small attractive touring pitches with lavender bushes separating them. For the CAMC we have 2 small pitches to make one serviced pitch which means you can park on one pitch and sit out on the neighbouring one. In low season the owner upgrades to a slightly larger pitch if there is one free on arrival. The access is through a maze of apartments and houses and a bit tricky in places. The sanitary facilities are superb, modern and spotlessly clean and the small open pool is overlooking the beautiful bay. The cocktail bar is open in high season and has panoramic views. For a relaxing no frills stay if you want to just walk down to the beach or go for a swim this site is still perfect.

Amazing Site

Arcadia
Amazing Site, although we only arrived 2 days ago out of our 15 day stay we are so pleased we found this little family run Site. Beautiful view from our Caravan, lovely little pool and nice bar. Could not help but give them a 5 star review 😀 Cannot comment regarding holiday with children as we are only travelling as a couple. Would definitely love to return.
