Why stay here ...

Set amid stunning scenery alongside the Vénéon River, this site is a haven for those who enjoy being active in the great outdoors. The friendly owners have cultivated a peaceful atmosphere that lasts throughout the season and appeals to couples seeking a quiet break. Facilities for children are limited.

Pitches are a mixture of stone and grass and separated by trees, which provide some shade in the summer. Home-cooked dishes such as tartiflette and fondue are served in the traditional restaurant, and there’s a small shop in reception for the basics.

During the ski season a telecabine near to the site entrance transports visitors to the resort of Les 2 Alpes, which lies behind a sharp rise. In summer, you can explore the range of walking trails and take a trip to Grenoble, a bustling city with some fine restaurants and many interesting museums.

Beautiful site shame about sanitary facilities

Le Champ Du Moulin
We are currently staying at Champ du Moulin, the site is beautiful, patches are spacious, and the campsite is kept clean, it's such a shame about the sanitary facilities, everything is in one block, when you enter it looks dingy because is so dark, when you go to use the washing up area you can smell the toilets as they are very close, same block, not pleasant, they could be cleaner but because they badly need updating ,they look worse, it's a real shame because the location is magmificant and the restaurant does really nice food , the use organic products, hopefully the site manager will decide to update the sanitary facilities soon.

needs updating

Le Champ Du Moulin
Stunning scenery. A haven for walkers, cyclists, climbers. However, the facilities are badly in need of refurbishment and were not clean. Pitches small and units too close together. Manager disorganised and site generally needs more staff and attention. Disappointing.

Second time of staying at this site. Great views and lots to do, walking, cable cars, cycling including lots of downhill mountain bikes. Excellent municipal pool adjacent .

Wow!

Le Champ Du Moulin
Beautiful site alongside river.Mountains all around are spectacular.Site owners are extremely friendly and helpful. The club's foreign touring brochure sums it all up. If you are even half tempted to visit then do so and stay as long as possible. If you are fit there is endless walking or cycling, for the less able, like me,the driving is spectacular and the sitting doing nothing is superb.
