Although Les Alicourts is more removed from the main attractions of the area, some of its more popular châteaux – such as Cheverny and Chambord – can be reached in little over an hour. Orléans is an attractive city with picturesque streets and some excellent museums.

Les Alicourts
Site is very clean, great activities for 10 year old. Lake was beautiful, some pitches were fantastic sized (unfortunately not ours 600). Site shop ok for essentials. Intermarche and lidle 15mins away Pool very busy, not enough life guards slide area. Entertainment very noisy finished between 11-12pm, can be heard across whole site Unfortunately Site was very noisy between hours of midnight to 4am, mixture of staff/holiday makers. No staff to monitor noise If noise issue was sorted we would definitely return

Heatwave Heaven

Les Alicourts
Stayed here with my wife and myself in our Tourer for 10 days in the 2nd two weeks of June 2019. It just so happened to be France's hottest June ever and we managed to experience temperatures of almost 40c over a few days. Some might say marvellous, but be aware some pitches get full sun in the afternoon/evening and that made for some pretty uncomfortable sleeping, We just couldn't get cooled down. The pool complex is fantastic for children , though there is not much shade to speak of apart from a few Palm trees and access to the bar area. The wave pool was the coldest of the many pools and slides and was a delight to be in when the weather was at its hottest. The Lake has plenty of activities and you can swim in it too. Only tried the takeaway for food which was good enough for what we wanted. The facilities were immaculate and the lake is teeming with fish for those who like to fish. Overall, I would recommend this site to anyone, especially those with children.

Les Alicourts
Excellent site, visted July 2015 with 3 kids aged 9, 11, 13, facilities immaculate, pool and bar area fantastic. Great play park for the kids. One of the best sites we have been to in France. Not a great deal to do and see in the surrounding area but site is great for a family holiday.
