Why stay here ...

Kleinenzhof has been run by the same family for 3 generations. There is a hotel with a restaurant and all year indoor pool, a super indoor activity area for the kids, petting animals and a new outdoor playground area.

The site has a magnificent setting in a wooded valley surrounded by hills, in the north of the Black Forest and has a bustling stream running through it. It's a popular area for walking and mountain biking enthusiasts and far from any built up area.

Just locally in Bad Wildbad try the amazing swing bridge over the trees or climb high on the Wildbad Forest top walk with magnificent views of the forest.

There are many residents from local towns on site that benefit from the year long opening dates and the site also warmly welcomes holiday makers passing by, to enjoy the ever changing spectacular scenery in this beautiful area.

Fourth stop on way to Austria

Kleinenzhof
Stopped here in June for 3 nights after departing Rudesheim. Site is in wooded area which is great if you like walking or cycling. Otherwise, a ten minute drive into town to the supermarkets and restaurants. Toilets/showers were good but not as modern as previous sites. Probably because we were there only 3 nights we were put in an area where long term pitches were: some of these weren't the nicest of views (but not really a big problem). Onsite restaurant and shop. Only issue was that road to the site was being reconstructed so sat navs kept sending us on alternative routes that led to nowhere, but once it was realised I could go past no entry signs to access the site it was no problem. Saw a couple of other sets hesitating to go past like we did. Would recommend.

Beautiful Black Forest

Kleinenzhof
We were greeted by owner on arrival. Very welcoming. Good pitch. Clean tidy showers/toilets just little dated. Lovely hot showers. Had excellent meal at on site restaurant. Have to pay extra for electricity which can work out expensive but overall very good site. Would recommend

Pleasant site in Black Forest

Kleinenzhof
Friendly welcome upon arrival had choice of 3 pitches. Water to ea pitch. Many permanent caravans as per usual on German sites. Nice restaurant and small pool indoor and outdoor. Good shop. Good walk into Calmbach where you can catch the train into Bad Wildbad using the free train travel with Kris Card. Pitches were reasonable size mostly hard standing. Site a little isolated if using motorhome or lots of walking. Car hire is available

Travel broadens the mind! Very different site to CAMC sites in UK

Kleinenzhof
This long established, family run business has clearly expanded over the years and predominantly serves the needs of its home client base who maintain a diverse range of caravans they use as holiday homes on the site. We were somewhat surprised on arrival but never judge a book by its cover. We were welcomed by the owner and offered 2 pitches to choose from. Water was not available on pitch due to adverse temperatures early April) but we were told of alternative arrangements and offered help. Facilities were very clean and warm ( most welcome). There is a restaurant, bar, cafe and small shop and laundry facilities on site. Fresh bread can be ordered daily Site is especially good for walkers and cyclists. On site facilities for families are good. We were offered free use of sauna on Tuesday, free use of indoor pool at anytime. There is a lovely children's outdoor play area and several animals to pet and also an indoor sport room. Go carts can be hired. Wi-Fi was not expensive but wasn’t the most reliable. Owners were friendly, welcoming, spoke good English and were very helpful indeed. Served us well for short stopover on our extended tour of Europe

Excellent stay.

Kleinenzhof
We stayed for 3 nights at the beginning of September 2019. We had a serviced pitch which worked well and was separated form adjacent pitches by hedges which also gave a little welcome shade. The toilet facilities were excellent and always clean. The restaurant was good and all of the staff spoke reasonable English & were very helpful. We read the previous review some time after we had made our booking & were concerned as to what we might find when we arrived. True enough there were lots of "old caravans" that had been there for many years but it was amazing to see how much time, money & imagination had been spent on converting them into summer residences. Shame we live so far away as we could be tempted to do something similar. In all we visited 5 sites in Germany & 3 of them had similar permanent caravans - it is obviously something the locals do.
