Troutbeck Head Club Site in Cumbria

The safety and wellbeing of our members, guests, staff and the communities in which our campsites operate, has always been of paramount importance to us.

We encourage all guests to use the voluntary NHS Test & Trace App (and Scottish and N.I. equivalents) to register their attendance at our sites. If you do not have the ability to download the App, we will continue to use your booking details should we be asked to provide contact information by an authorised body.

Please note that we will strive to keep this page as up to date as possible, but please always check the relevant Government websites for the very latest information before you travel.

England

Following the latest Government announcements (as of 26 November) regarding the end of the lockdown and a return to a regional tier structure of local COVID alert levels in England from Wednesday 2 December, we can advise that the majority of our campsites are located within the Local Alert level of Medium (Tier 1) and High (Tier 2) and are open to members and guests from Wednesday 2 December.

Unfortunately, some of our campsites are located within a Local Alert level of Very High (Tier 3) and therefore must remain closed for members and guests, including those who live in the local area. Please see the section below labelled 'Club and Affiliated campsites temporarily closed'.

If you already have a booking at one of our campsites and the latest Government announcements mean you will not be able to stay, please cancel or amend your booking for free. We will communicate separately with any seasonal or storage pitch holders who are affected by campsites going into Tier 3.

Scotland

Following the announcements from the Scottish Government regarding local lockdowns and the introduction of the COVID Protection Levels, some of our campsites are affected.

Two of our campsites are open in line with the current government guidance for their local area (please see tab labelled ‘Club and Affiliated campsites open’).
Two of our campsites are currently within COVID Protection Level 3 (please see tab labelled ‘Club and Affiliated campsites open with restrictions’). Members and guests who reside in a COVID Protection Level 3 area should not travel to any of the Club’s other campsites whilst the alert is in place, but can continue to stay at a campsite within their own area.

One of our campsites is currently within COVID Protection Level 4 and is therefore temporarily closed whilst the alert is in place (please see tab labelled ‘Club and Affiliated campsites temporarily closed’).

If you are affected by these new Government announcements and are not able to stay at one of our campsites, and you already have a booking, please cancel or amend your booking for free to allow other members to benefit from the availability.
