Last updated 6 August 2021

Based on the latest updates from across the UK, it’s clear that the pandemic is still very much with us. With the forthcoming easing of restrictions, the ownership and responsibility of maintaining a safe environment now sits with everyone.

With that in mind, we want to reassure our members and guests that while we are making changes to our Covid protocols and restrictions to reflect Government advice, we are committed to doing so cautiously. We would ask that you continue to wear face coverings and observe social distancing in our reception areas during this time. We can't predict what will happen over the coming months, however we will continue to monitor the situation and will make any suitable adjustments, if required, to ensure we're doing all we can to protect our members, guests and staff.

Rest assured, we’re continuing to take a responsible approach to the easing of restrictions to support everyone's safety and wellbeing which is, as always, of paramount importance to us.

We appreciate your patience and understanding and we will continue to review our UK Club campsite network in line with Government advice as it is announced.

Please view our Covid Secure Commitment for the latest information on how we’re continuing to protect members, guests and staff at our UK Club campsites.

Please note that we will strive to keep this page as up to date as possible, but as this is a complex and ever-changing situation, please always check the relevant Government websites for the very latest information using the links below:

England

Following the latest Government announcement on 12 July, we are pleased to be able to ease many of the Covid restrictions at our Club campsites in England. Please see below for further details.

Guidance from Mon 19 July

Shared facilities and communal areas
All internal shared facility areas, including toilet and shower blocks, wash up areas, laundry rooms, drying rooms and information rooms are fully open, however in order to continue to protect our staff, we still require social distancing, and the wearing of face coverings in our reception areas for the time being. Please respect these requirements and ensure you comply with the protocols on each site.

Please note: certain facilities may be closed or temporarily unavailable due to essential maintenance. We recommend always checking the individual site details pages on our website for the latest information.

Face coverings
Face coverings are not compulsory in indoor spaces (other than reception), however please be aware that the Government advises the wearing of a face covering within an enclosed space where you may come into contact with people you don't normally meet. Please be considerate of your fellow members by complying with this expectation.

Contact tracing
Contact tracing procedures remain in place at our Club campsites in England, but are no longer compulsory. In order to assist with the Government’s NHS Test and Trace programme, we still encourage all members and guests to scan the QR code with the NHS Covid-19 app.

Visitors on site
We are pleased to advise that day visitors are once again welcome on our sites. In order to assist with the Government’s NHS Test and Trace programme, we still encourage all members and guests to scan the QR codes located across the site with the NHS Covid-19 app.

We understand that while many covid secure procedures have been eased from 19 July, some members may still wish to observe certain social distancing measures, or prefer to use their own facilities instead. We fully support anyone who wishes to do this and would like to ask all members to respect everyone’s individual preferences.
