Last updated 17 May 2021

Following the recent Government announcements, we are very pleased to be able to provide the latest update on our Club campsite network including the use of shared facilities and the latest Test & Trace requirements.

Please see the below sections for the specific details about each country. Based on the latest guidance there are no longer travel restrictions between England, Wales and Scotland.

We appreciate your patience and understanding and we will continue to review our UK Club campsite network in line with Government advice as it is announced.

The safety and wellbeing of our members, guests, staff and the communities in which our campsites operate, has always been of paramount importance to us.

Following the latest government advice, all our shared facilities (including showers) at our Club campsites in England, Scotland and Wales are now open and operating in line with government guidance and at reduced capacity.

We kindly ask all members and guests staying at our Club Campsites in England, Wales and Scotland, to wear face coverings (unless exempt) when using the toilet blocks, disabled facilities, laundry and food preparation areas and dishwashing facilities.

We'd like to remind you that we are currently not able to allow visitors on-site to meet with other guests to help keep members and staff safe at this time.

Please note that we will strive to keep this page as up to date as possible, but as this is a complex and ever-changing situation, please always check the relevant Government websites for the very latest information using the links below:

England

All our Club campsites in England are now open, with toilets, showers and shared washing and cleaning facilities available at Club campsites which have them (operating in line with government guidance and at reduced capacity).

Our covid secure protocols mean we can operate our shared facilities with carefully managed social distancing measures in place to minimise household mixing. However, we would still strongly recommend the use of your own facilities wherever possible, if you are able to do so, as this will greatly reduce the risk of transmission. We would like to thank you for your understanding and patience in supporting the delivery of our Covid Secure Commitment.

For the latest updates about our on-site social areas, please read our Coronavirus FAQs.

If you wish to book a tent camping pitch in England, please contact the relevant Club campsite directly and we will do our best to accommodate you.

For any bookings with our Certificated Locations (CL) or Affiliated Sites (AS), please check directly with those campsites.

Test & Trace requirements: Our Club campsites in England require all members and guests over the age of 16 to provide Test and Trace information. If you already have the NHS Covid-19 app, you will be asked to use this on arrival at the campsite for all party members over the age of 16. If you do not have the app, you will be provided with a log sheet to complete. For more information on the Test and Trace requirements please see our Coronavirus FAQs.

Scotland

Following the Scottish Government's recent guidance, all our Club campsites in Scotland are now open with toilets, showers and shared washing and cleaning facilities available at Club campsites which have them (operating in line with government guidance and at reduced capacity). Please note that due to essential maintenance, the toilet block facilities at our Culloden Moor Club campsite will remain closed for the time being.

Please note: the Scottish government has confirmed that the local authority areas of Moray and Glasgow City will remain in Level 3 at this time, which means there can be no travel into or out of these areas. There are no Club campsites located in these areas, however if you reside in either of them and have an imminent booking, please amend or cancel as appropriate.

Test & Trace requirements: All our campsites will display a Check In Scotland Test and Protect QR code poster which we strongly encourage you to scan on arrival at the campsite for all party members. Alternatively, we will use your booking details should Scotland Test and Protect Team contact us (you can opt out of this by emailing testandtraceoptout@camc.com). For more information on the Test and Trace requirements please see our Coronavirus FAQs.

If you test positive, you should complete your period of self-isolation before you begin your journey. For more information on this and ordering a lateral flow test click here.
