Changes to the application process

 The previous ballot process, which generated a lot of uncertainty amongst members wishing to book a seasonal pitch, will cease. Having listened to members and in order to provide a better, faster experience, seasonal pitches will be now be allocated booked on a first come, first served basis.

Important information

  • NEW – Seasonal Pitches are now available at Cayton Village, Coniston Park Coppice, Kendal, Gowerton, Rookesbury Park Club, Southport and York Beechwood Grange Campsites for 2026.
  • Due to the challenging weather conditions of the Winter, we have decided to separate the pitch fee and electricity for our seasonal pitches which include any of the months between November and February. We have therefore reduced the seasonal base price, and electricity will be payable to the site team at the end of each month based on usage. The Winter seasonals for 2026/7 that will be metered and charged separately at Carnon Downs, Cirencester Park, Edinburgh, Hunter’s Moon and Melrose Gibson Park Club Campsites.
  • Electricity will continue to be metered and charged separately at Dornafield Club Campsite.

Frequently asked questions

  • What is a seasonal pitch?

    A seasonal pitch is a pitch on one of our campsites which is rented out on a long term basis, for up to 10 months at a time. Pitches offered will be on either hard or grass surfaces depending on the campsite, and all have a bollard at the pitch to hook-up to your electric.

  • What are the minimum and maximum number of nights I can book for?

    When you make a booking for a seasonal pitch, you are purchasing the whole period stipulated. Unfortunately we can't take part-duration bookings but we can take bookings for a pitch that becomes available after the start date of the seasonal pitch period. The fee will be prorated accordingly. The booking terms and conditions accompanying the booking form provide full details.

  • How long can I stay on a campsite?

    The maximum time guests are allowed to stay on a campsite varies depending on each campsite and is usually either 21 or 28 consecutive nights, with a 2 night gap before guests can return to the same campsite. However, there are a few campsites where guests may be asked to vacate for longer periods in between stays. Please ask individual campsites for clarification.  If you don’t comply with this condition we may terminate the Seasonal or Base Pitch.

  • Why have you discontinued the ballot system?

    The process has moved to a first come first served basis in order to provide a quicker response to applications (the previous ballot process, which generated a lot of uncertainty amongst members wishing to book a seasonal pitch, has now ceased).

  • How can I pay for my seasonal pitch?

    Applications are online and we're no longer accepting postal applications. If your preferred payment method is not by direct debit (the most popular way) you may pay a single payment by credit or debit card. Simply select the option on the online application form, and one of our team will call you back to take your details.

  • Have the cancellation terms changed?

    The administration fee for cancellations has increased to £75. Please refer to the full terms and conditions.
