Roof Space was founded in 2020 in a garage by Immanuel Schneider and Jakob Heider, two friends who had known each other since primary school.  Both share a passion for travelling and the great outdoors which inspired them to design and develop a roof tent without compromise.

In 2022 their first prototype had been designed and eager to receive feedback, they started a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo.  The results blew them away and the rest, as they say, is history.

Roof Space have considered all eventualities - it's one of the few roof tents on the market that allows space to fold bedding inside the main shell. The hardtop shell has gas struts to make opening and closing it easier.
