Genesis Motors, originally a luxury division of Hyundai, became a standalone brand in 2015 and officially launched in the UK in 2021.

At the Caravan and Motorhome Club Towcar of the Year 2026, the Genesis GV60 Sport Plus won the Caravan weight 1600kg - 1700kg class.
