Professor Ferdinand Porsche started his plans for the Porsche brand back in 1930 in Stuttgart, Germany, where the company’s head office and manufacturing plant is still based. Their first vehicle, the Type 356 was launched in 1948.

The Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid Platinum Edition was crowned the overall winner at Caravan and Motorhome Club Towcar of the Year 2024. At the Caravan and Motorhome Club Towcar of the Year 2026 the Porsche Macan Electric won the Caravan Weight 1800kg - 2000kg class.
