BOARDMAN HYB 8.9E ELECTRIC BIKE IN AS NEW CONDITION

BOARDMAN HYB 8.9E ELECTRIC BIKE for sale in hardly used as new condition. I was rather silly to buy this bike at the age of 81and very soon discovered it was not suitable for me. I really need a bike without a crossbar! I bought it to carry on the back of my motorhome and chose this model because it was by far the lightest machine available at a reasonable price. It weighs 16.2 kg with the combined battery/drive unit installed and 11.6kg when they are removed. This compares with the more usual 23 – 25 kg of most machines. It is a lovely light swift bike which can be ridden just like a normal hybrid bike when the battery/drive unit is removed. I purchase a dummy battery/drive unit cover to put in place when the machine was being ridden without battery assistance. The bike was purchased new from Halfords in Feb 2025 used a handful of times during the summer of 2025 and dry stored since. You can see from the condition of the tyres and general appearance that it is as new. Halfords still list the machine at £2399 (checked 09/05/2026) I am asking £1399 a full £1k below new price for a bike in as new
