The Quasar 524 is light weight for its length, 1310kg MTPLM that can be towed by modest size cars. With an adaptable layout, the settees are long enough to make single beds or one double and a side dining area that makes bunks. The shower room is a good big area, so ideal for families with young children . The shower cubicle is rectangular and fully domestic-sized. A small cupboard under the sink with two shelves. Sink with mirror and light over mirror. There are two wardrobes within the shower room. Sleeping - The lounge double bed base is the slat system, sliding out from under the front two-drawer unit, which alternatively can be used as single beds. Beds for two more made from the dining area, by raising a bunk base from alongside the wall. Offside seating boxes have top access and under-seat storage is by hinge-down doors that run the whole length of the settees. The Dining area has a large freestanding table (stored within the kitchen cabinet) plus a two-seater table on the offside, plus when using as a two-berth, its a permanent dining area. The seating area has comfortable firm settees, and armrest bolsters. Quasars are in theory supposed to be budget caravans but the looks and the quality of workmanship begs to differ. The kitchen work surface space is generous. Around the large, circular sink there’s more space, and even more with the clip-on plastic drainer in place. The cabinet to the right of the fridge has two deep shelf areas and a drawer. There are two more, wider, drawers at the front to use. The microwave (Daewoo) is housed in the over head locker. The fridge is a full size one as is the gas oven, the top cooker has four gas rings.
