Hayle Certificated Locations

The town of Hayle is situated in West Cornwall on the opposite side of St Ives Bay. Its pretty streets and harbour led to it gaining World Heritage Site status - but this is no stuffy historic resort. There is so much on offer for all the family that it's a must-see.

Three miles of golden beaches are open for exploration, with surfing and windsurfing available as well as paddling and rockpooling.

Hikers will also be delighted by the rugged trails and pathways around town, while birdwatchers are sure to be in their element thanks to the RSPB-managed estuary.

For history buffs, check out the Oral History Centre in the Old Brewery Offices and the Hayle Heritage Trail.

Kids will also love Paradise Park with its 650 birds, Fan Farm and jungle play area.

All this as well as great pubs, Cornish pasties and excellent restaurants make Hayle a wonderful place for a British break.
