A relaxing stay

Carnewas Farm
This is a nice quiet cl, just what we like. Birdsong was fairly constant. Wren, goldfinch, kestrels too. It is down a dusty drive, so drive slowly. Plenty of space between the units too, so feels spacious. Electric is 10amp, but we had no issues, as we have a low wattage kettle. The adjacent camping field has better views, so maybe next time we'll go in there. There are two toilets and showers in the adjacent camping field, so campers from there would no doubt use these facilities too. Ideally placed for the south West Coast path for those who like walking the beautiful coast path. Would we go again? Yes. Would we recommend it? Yes Rob and Cheryl T

NORTH WEST CORNWALL

Carnewas Farm
SITUATED BETWEEN NEWQUAY AND PADSTO, LIKE ALL CORNWALL ROADS THE ACCESS ALONG THE B3276 IS A LITTLE TIGHT IN A FEW PLACES FOR MODERN UNITS, THE SITE IS DOWN A DUSTY FARM DRIVE, AMPULE SPACE BETWEEN PITCHES, SET IN BEAUTIFULL COUNTRY SIDE, ALL YOU CAN HEAR IS THE BIRD SONG, WOULD RECONMEND IT FOR A VERY PEACEFULL STAY

Grinstead's on tour 2019

Carnewas Farm
I thoroughly recommend trying to book a pitch on this CL. For 3 years now, I have been unsuccessful in booking a pitch on this site for beginning of August. This year, at Wendy's recommendation, we stayed on non club site very close by. I can now see why it is hard to getting a booking on this CL. It really is a stunning site and area, and appears to be only 10 min's from everywhere. Wendy comes across as a typical farmers wife (absolutely flat out and up to her eye balls) but was very helpful and welcoming.

Jiffy the Motorhome

Carnewas Farm
Great site across the road from NT Bedruthan Steps. South along the coastal path is a small beautiful village with inland bridal paths. We watched some local wrestling in a nearby village fete. Buses stop at the end if the lane going to either Newquay or Padstow. We chose to go to Padstow; what a gorgeous place. Plenty of space in the car park for our unit. Lots to see and do.
