Why stay here ...

Very large level pitches for your canoes and dinghys and close to the fantastic sailing waters of the river Fal (and its many creekside pubs!). We are blessed with National Trust Trelissick on our doorstep which has magnificent woodland gardens and good walking too. The village beach at Looe is just wonderful, not glitzy, but friendly and an ideal place to snooze and people watch the rich and famous from the shack cafe.

With vehicle access  never a problem, good reception for TV and Mobiles to keep in touch, 5 local buses to hand every day and trains two miles, what more could anyone want?

Lovely!

We have just returned from a 6 night stay on this site. It has all you need: easy access, level short grass (better than mine at home!), plenty of room and easy access to places of interest. If we return to that area, it is likely we would visit again.

Excellent site, quiet, clean and spacious.

Excellent site. Well mown grass, cleanest bins I have ever seen. Good location to coast, Truro, Falmouth, St Mawes via King Harry Ferry, Trellisick Gardens just down the road. Plenty of space, good firm ground. Easy access to site, quiet location and from entrance to the field next door there are views across to the estuary. Good pub down the road, "Punch Bowl and Ladle" I think we will be back to this site again in the future. We only spoke to the owner on arrival but that was all that we required. Septic tank waste cover a little fiddly but that was a minor detail. One of the best CL sites we have visited and we have been members for over 25 years.

Would not recommend for motor homes

We were at this site two weeks ago for a week. Our motorhome is only a two berth so not huge. The weather had been wet but dried up on our second day and most of the rest of the week was hot sunshine and wind. The field was hard but the water lays on top. We got stuck twice. The dodgy place is near the water tap. The field was nice to look at with lovely assorted bushes all around and the site was quiet, yet near to the road. We didn't see the owner after telling him we had arrived and he didn't seem to want our money. We had to look for him to pay on the last day. My husband mentioned the wet field. He said it had always been the same for the twenty odd years he'd lived there. Can't really recommend this site if you have a motorhome.

Fantastic spacious site

Fantastic site. Stayed over the summer. Plenty of space for the kids, to run around in between rain showers and views for adults. Booked to return before we left which is a first.
