Why stay here ...

The Gables CL site comprises of 5 pitches with hard standing situated on the edge of the unspoilt hamlet of Moorend which is famed for its “Hole-in-the-wall”, a “terrace” of listed buildings which form an archway over the roadway into Moorend. Hence the importance of following our directions when accessing the site with your caravan or motorhome.

Our small holding is ideally situated in an unspoilt rural location offering access to many footpaths in the locality on which you can enjoy stunning views in Bradley & Moorend.

We are an adult only site and welcome dogs. Three quarters of an acre of the 1.5 acre site is fenced off and can be used for dog walking.

We opened in April 2022 and have electric hooks ups available to each pitch. There are also water taps and a grey waste point at each pitch. There is no additional charge for an awning or use of dog walk area.

Being situated close to Ashbourne on the edge of the Peak district there are plentiful tourist opportunities which include Carsington Water, High Peak and Tissington trails, Alton Towers, Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall as well as the pretty nearby town of Ashbourne and the pretty village of Osmaston with its quaint cottages, duck pond and village pub (both within walking distance for the active).
