Chudleigh Certificated Locations

If you're looking for a holiday destination in South Devon, you can't go wrong with Chudleigh. Nestled between Newton Abbot and Exeter, it's also close to the edge of Dartmoor, meaning you can enjoy the best of both urban and rural locations.

The destination is a real haven for walkers, as there are a number of trails passing through or nearby, including the one leading up to the Iron Age hill fort at Castle Dyke and that celebrating the poetry of Ted Hughes.

For the more adventurous, there are also opportunities for kayaking, mountain biking and climbing, notably up the limestone crag known as 'The Rock'.

You'll definitely want to visit a few pubs, cafes, restaurants and tea rooms during your time in Chudleigh, as Devon food is heavenly. Try sampling locally-caught seafood, home-brewed ale and a Devonshire cream tea - but don't forget to put the cream on before the jam.
