The perfect place to stay in the heart of the Cotswolds.

Lucy's Field
Easy access from the Fosse Way. Travelling south on the A429, take the first turning to Bourton on the Water at traffic lights, (down Station Road). This bypasses the busy part of the village. Continue on the road until a right turn onto Leaslow Lane (look for a brown sign to the Lamb Inn). Lucy's Field is 1.7 miles on the right.
Immediately after the entrance, turn left onto an undulating field. There are lots of large wooden ramps hung on the fence to help level up. There are 6 pitches to choose from (only a maximum of 5 at any time).
16 amps. Showers etc are kept immaculate. Easy waste disposal, recycling and water.
Bill (the owner) is one of the nicest people you could wish to meet. Affable with a great sense of humour and he'll help you in any way. He told us about the ridiculously high prices at the Lamb Inn, so we followed his advice and drove a few miles to the Black Horse Inn in Narbeth. On a Monday night, they do a 3-course buffet of exceptional quality for just 12 quid!!! It is truly the best value pub meal we've ever had.
We stayed 6 nights and we've already vowed to return. Just fabulous!

Simply beautiful!

Lucy's Field
We had the best stay here, Mr Lane gave us a warm and informative welcome. To get the views you get a bit of a slope but there are ramps and lots of wood provided to help you get level. Caravans in the upper field Motorhomes and tents in the camp site next door. I think these are the best views we've had so far, the added toilet facilites and shower (£1 to use) are a real bonus. We fell in love with the 2 little ponies and looked forward to them thundering down the hill in the evenings for a fresh bit of grass, that was the highlight of our day. There's also a lovely shaded walk into the village where there's a pub. For touring the roads are brilliant in the Cotswolds, we had no idea how good they were, not many single rack roads. Our favourite places to visit were Chipping Campden, the Slaughters (a short walk between upper and lower) and Stanton - a drink in the Mount Inn is an absolute must as you can sit outside and the views across the Malvern Hills are fabulous. We liked walking up to the Broadway Tower from Broadway and then along to the steam train. Try not to miss the beautiful viaduct at Stanway which can be viewed from a little lane off the main road just before Toddington. We will definitely go back, its so well placed for touring round.

Super, what a gem

Lucy's Field
What a great site this is. Bill the owner is great man, friendly and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. Yes the site is sloping but Bill helps this by proving extra wood and blocks to help level up. Showers were immaculate. You do pay for the showers as they are on a meter. But don't let that stop you. Lots of wildlife including a front row seat to a barn owl box. Waited a long time to see it, but alas no show. If I was in the area I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Fabulous, tranquil site

Lucy's Field
What a great site with such a lovely owner. Yes it does have some ridge and furrows in the caravan side but nothing a good or careful driver can’t deal with. We started in the bottom corner pitch but moved across the site so we where next door to our friends. Our 4 berth, fairly long caravan managed just fine with the terrain. The site and facilities were spotless. The surrounding walks were fabulous and walking into Bourton meant there were no parking issue. Bill was really friendly and the Shetland ponies were fun to watch in the evening. Wildlife was abundant in the sky and on the ground. We will definitely return.

Peaceful campsite

Lucy's Field
Easy to find small site a few miles from Bourton on water which if you are so inclined walk to on some well mapped public paths or cycle. Choose your pitch carefully taking into account the large undulating field. Facilities were clean but we used our own given the coin meter requirement for the shower. A nice local pub just round the corner a d also a convenience store about a mile away. No e director two or three nights to explore the Bourton and the slaughters.
