Moreton-in-Marsh Certificated Locations

The town of Moreton-in-Marsh is believed to date back to the 13th century and is one of the key market towns in the Cotswolds.

This rich history is evident in many of the buildings throughout Moreton-in-Marsh. Along the main high street there are a number of 18th century inns and houses, including the Redesdale Market Hall - which still hosts a weekly market with some 200 stalls selling a variety of goods.

One of the most popular events in the town is the annual Morton-in-Marsh agricultural show. Held the first Saturday of September, this one-day meeting attracts exhibitors from across the country as well as offering great family entertainment, including dancing sheep.
