For walkers, the location is unmatched. Located on Whitmore Way Footpath, this 12.5-mile circular walk traverses the Parishes of Corse and Staunton, in Gloucestershire. The route is mainly level, with some short ascents and descents. It passes through greenways, quiet lanes, cultivated farmland, and open grazing.
A short drive leads you to Gullet Quarry and Crickley Hill Country Park — both offering panoramic views across Gloucestershire, Malvern Hills, and even the Cotswolds on clear days. Robinswood Hill, just south of Gloucester, presents wildlife-rich trails and a scenic picnic area atop a nature reserve.
Forest of Dean adventures
