View and BookSituated in North Lincolnshire renowned for its natural beauty, huge skies and tranquility, as well as the famous Humber Head SSSI, interesting historical sites, villages and market towns, The Nook is a great base from which to discover historic Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.
The Nook is set in a peaceful 10 acres of grassland, with the River Torne running along our western boundary - the land is perfectly flat, easy to access and well drained, with a metalled roadway leading to our one acre Club CL Five Van Site.
Fancy a spot of fishing? We are surrounded by five well stocked and managed fisheries (see Things To Do on our Website) - the nearest one being a pleasant 10 minute walk along the river bank.
Two miles further on, you'll find three more fishing lakes, one with a country café and farm shop, complete with a farm butcher selling locally reared produce.
For those of you who enjoy golf, there are two courses with driving ranges nearby.
We are fortunate to have a number of great country pubs nearby, with good real ales and some with excellent food, all at sensible prices! The nearest is the Cross Keys pub in the village, about 3/4 of a mile away opposite the village shop.
You'll have the opportunity to enjoy our rich cultural history - Epworth, the home of the Wesleys, is only five miles away, seasonal attractions and annual events such as the Haxey Hood, the Festival of the Plough, Haxey Music Festival, The Lincolnshire Show, Gainsborough Old Hall, Lincoln Cathedral, Sandtoft Trolley Bus Museum (World's largest) and much more are on our doorstep.
Being very flat, the area is perfect for walking and cycling.
We hope you like the sound of The Nook, and should you require any further information or details just give us a call - or better still, why not stay a night or two and find out for yourself?

The owner was there to meet us and was very friendly. The price was £5 as advertised. The site is a flat, well drained, mowed field on the outskirts of the village with riverside walks nearby. There is only water and waste facilities on site and the village does not have many facilities either, but this suits us as we look for out of the way quiet sites with plenty of space between us and the next van. This site was perfect for us and our dogs and had excellent TV reception.
