Bright and breezy

Access from the motorway network was nice and easy, until we reached the final section of Remple Lane. Those potholes really need some attention. Things got easier again once we reached the site, where the hardstandings were well kept and perfectly level. Plenty of fresh water taps spaced around the site. Just a couple of niggles - the bins weren't clearly labelled, so it wasn't clear what we could put in the recycling bins (and we know this differs across the country) and were full by the middle of the Easter weekend. Also the chemical waste goes into a hole in the ground on the edge of the site near the toilet and shower facilities, with no shelter or fencing around it. Considering how close the site is to 2 motorways, it was surprisingly quiet. However, being in a very flat part of the country you really feel it when the wind blows. Storm straps are recommended if you're putting your awning up. This is a site that seems to be upgraded regularly and we wouldn't hesitate to return if we were in the area.

Great site - curtailed stay.

Mooreacres
Reiterate everything said in previous reviews, but we had to leave on the second day, having booked for 5 nights. A warning to all - we went into Doncaster and parked in Doncaster North Park and Ride, mid morning on a weekday. There were Very few cars parked and the office and waiting room all locked up. On return 4 hours later our car had been burgled! 2 side windows gone and rear hatch too. Car full of glass and completely ransacked. Property all gone including all caravan door and security keys (lucky we had complete spare set). Heaps of glass in other areas of the park. In hindsight this carpark is hardly used probably known as a thieves playground. DO NOT USE. As rain was forecast over night, after clearing all the glass, we hitched up and drove home with three windscreens missing. Oliver at the site was brilliant and cannot thank him enough for his help and understanding and refusing to take what we offered him for two nights. Site is being expanded with more pitches and a huge toilet and shower block, and will be fab when finished. Recommend this site.

Lovely site

Mooreacres
We only stayed for 2 nights, but wish we could have stayed longer on this lovely small site. The facilities are very clean & there are plenty of ehu & water points. The pitches are spacious & we found it easy to get to even in our 7.6m motorhome. Oliver is very friendly & responds promptly to messages, I thoroughly recommend this site.

Amazing little site

Mooreacres
We absolutely love this site It's 7 miles away from our storage yard and could be a million miles, it's so peaceful. The campsite is very very spacious with numerous taps and ehu points all along the fences. Oliver is helpful and friendly, explained to us where we could find some nice little walks straight from the campsite. There is a new and modern shower and toilet room. Recycling bins & general waste. It's a great place to relax and unwind with no noise or light pollution. We have been many times and will continue to enjoy this beautiful site for years to come. Even my parents love it after their 1st stay a few weeks ago

Clean, tidy and well equiped CL!

Mooreacres
We booked into this CL for a one-night stay, having a teardrop caravan we needed a site which had onsite facilities such as a toilet and shower, this site catered for our needs perfectly, a short distance from the M18 you approach the CL via a short gravel road, plenty of room for even the widest of caravans, our little teardrop fitted down the road with ease. Upon arrival Oliver greeted us and told us to pick any pitch we liked; we chose pitch 2 which is on the left as you drive in. With us not having an awning we had lots of room. Even if you had a full-sized caravan and awning there would still be plenty of space to park. The EHU is located between pitches, a 15m EHU cable would be fine for most situations, we used a 5m EHU cable and still had some spare. There is also a drinking water tap conveniently located 2 meters from the EHU point. If you had a service pitch kit you could use this so you have a constant supply of fresh water. Although we didn’t use them there is an ELSAN Point and grey water disposal point near to the toilet block, they were clean and well kept! There is also a black bin and blue recycling bin for rubbish. The shower room is located near the entry gate, there is a light on at night so that you can locate it if needed. The toilet and shower room was clean and well kept, there was plenty of soap and toilet paper was provided. Our only recommendation would be to have a drain under the shower curtain which prevents water from leaking into the room. We loved our stay here and will definitely return in the future.
