Great CL, warm welcome, spacious and really well equipped

Treedale
Spent three nights here as base for visiting friends. Really spacious site mainly level grass with hard standing option. Great facilities, good loos and shower all very clean. Fishing on site plus tackle shop. Noisy main road adjacent but still a great site. Julia and John really helpful and very friendly. Very rural location with pub and pub grub about 200m away. Will definitely visit again.

Wonderful CL

Treedale
Our second visit to this gem of a CL. Access was easy as it is on the main Boston Spilsby road, which also means easy access for getting out and about. The site is beautifully kept, the new toilet block is well maintained and very clean and tidy. The shower is the same. Toilet waste disposal is very easy access and easy to use. My husband has mobility difficulties and the owners couldn't have done more to help. They offered us a choice of pitches, found us an extension lead, and even offered to drive our vehicle onto the pitch if required. We couldn't have asked for more. The course fishing lake is very easy access, with well marked pegs which are flat, clean and tidy. There are plenty of bins for disposal of fishing waste. There is a bait shop on site as well. The rubbish bins are placed just inside the gate for easy access for everyone. I can't praise this site enough. As an additional attraction, if one were needed, planes from the commemorative flight at (about half an hour away) regularly flew over whilst we were there, as did more modern fighter planes. A very pleasant distraction.

Not any more

Treedale
Easy access and friendly owners with a gorgeous fishing lake. Just 3 miles onto the flat bit of lovely Lincolnshire - so no views. Easy access was spoiled by the array of dustbins. Turned left and was confronted with a short gravelled avenue off either side a narrow grass strip to site your caravan. I assumed the CL. The concrete kerb drop onto the grass is a totally unsuitable 6” sheer drop, if you got down you would never get back up, the jockey wheel would sure to ground out. If another caravan was on site (this part) there would be no room to manoeuvre whatsoever. At this point the owner walked up to me, I said I don’t like this and she happily said I could turn round and go where I like on the grass behind me, which was fine. She offered an extension to the extension hook up leads necessary to get far enough away from the hap haphazardness of it all. Counted 14 caravans, some stored some looked like they are in permanent use, really only saw 4 that looked like normal users. One large motor home in ‘storage’ was parked right in the middle of it all. A big white van with dodgy trailer was parked up. All this I could have ignored were it not for the totally unacceptable road noise, absolutely no peace and quiet at all, day or night. The chemical empty place was situated in a shared shed with lawnmowers and other stuff, surrounded by unkempt catering equipment. Eventually I found the rinse water hose which is too far away so no one washes down afterwards, (I admit I didn’t either-just not usable) it was a mess. If you like fishing and are hard of hearing you will probably love it. Certainly not worth anywhere near £17 a night. It’s just all so wrong and not worthy of being called a ‘certified’ location.

Lovely Site

Treedale
My wife and I enjoyed a very pleasant stay at this site. It is a well kept site with plenty of space, separate toilet facilities for ladies and gentlemen. The shower room is modern and spacious. There is a large fishing lake within the site which can be fished by residents, with a good variety of fish including large carp. Overall we were made to feel very welcome by the owner John Rowntree and will be returning again. The Coach and Horses is closed.
