Nice site and area.

Campney Grange Farm
We stayed here in September 2023. The site is easy to find and very quiet. Mrs Moreton was lovely and was more than happy to answer any questions we had about the local area. The weather wasn’t great during our stay but we managed to get out and about every day. Had a nice relaxing Sunday lunch at the local pub. As I dog owner I always try to find CLs with good dog walks from site and this one didn’t disappoint in that respect. Woodall Spa is well worth a visit and there are regular sightings of the Spitfires and Typhhons. Lincoln isn’t too far away and we had a nice day there too. Highly recommended.

The Centre of Lincolnshire

Campney Grange Farm
We chose this site as it was in the centre of Lincolnshire and gave us the opportunity to visit the major attractions of the county. Lincoln is just over 10 miles away with Woolsthorpe Manor and Gainsborough not much further. The site is easy to get to from the major routes with no narrow roads to contend with. The owners are very pleasant and helpful (even offered a suggestion for a campsite in Scotland) and provide an information room in one of the outbuildings. The pitches are flat and level and the whole area is very well maintained. We expect to return to Lincolnshire to discover more of the county and will undoubtedly return to Campney Grange Farm to use as a base. Thoroughly recommended.

Lovely peaceful site

Campney Grange Farm
On our arrival we where met by Mr Moreton who was very welcoming. The site and surrounding area is very well kept, there is a information room on site which was very useful. Whilst staying at Champney Grange we visited Lincoln, Woodhill Spa, Horncastle and also had a trip to the Lincolnshire aviation centre which has a Lancaster bomber on show. We will definitely return. Lovely, peaceful site.

Campney Grange Farm
We loved this site, truly rural! Great traffic free walks for dogs, we have one dog very nervous of traffic, so he gave it a paws up. Ivor is really friendly, and helpful. Plenty of local information. Look forward to returning one day.

Lovely local site

Campney Grange Farm
We may only live 23 miles away, but we chose this site as we wanted to utilise the R1 water railway cycle route to cycle both to Lincoln and Woodhall Spa. The campsite is ideally sited for this. We loved our stay. The field was well kept and our pitch was perfect - it was just a shame that the border of sunflowers between the camping field and the arable field were in bud - they would have looked pretty spectacular had they been in flower. We have a 7m motorhome and was worried about all the rain we have had recently, but our worries were unfounded, the grounding wasn't affected in the slightest. Ivor the owner was very chatty and made us feel very welcome. He was also very relaxed about our departure time on the Sunday - which enabled us to have a full day in Woodhall Spa before heading home. We would love to have a return stay at sometime and head out again on our bikes - the cycle path was flooded just 2 miles outside of Lincoln so we never truly cycled the whole distance from the campsite. We highly recommend this peaceful CL - apart from the very vocal owl in the early hours of Saturday morning! :-)
