Lovely local site

We may only live 23 miles away, but we chose this site as we wanted to utilise the R1 water railway cycle route to cycle both to Lincoln and Woodhall Spa. The campsite is ideally sited for this. We loved our stay. The field was well kept and our pitch was perfect - it was just a shame that the border of sunflowers between the camping field and the arable field were in bud - they would have looked pretty spectacular had they been in flower. We have a 7m motorhome and was worried about all the rain we have had recently, but our worries were unfounded, the grounding wasn't affected in the slightest. Ivor the owner was very chatty and made us feel very welcome. He was also very relaxed about our departure time on the Sunday - which enabled us to have a full day in Woodhall Spa before heading home. We would love to have a return stay at sometime and head out again on our bikes - the cycle path was flooded just 2 miles outside of Lincoln so we never truly cycled the whole distance from the campsite. We highly recommend this peaceful CL - apart from the very vocal owl in the early hours of Saturday morning! :-)

One of our very favourite sites

We have visited Ivor and Sally's site 5 times and have always had a wonderful welcome the site is perfectly maintained and close to lovely Woodall spa , historic Lincoln Tattershall and numerous World War Two attractions.Walking and cycling is easy directly from the site.We cannot recommend Campney Grange and its owners highly enough !!!

The Best CL in Lincolnshire

We have just spent five wonderful days with our friends at this wonferful CL in rural Lincolnshire.Upon arrival we were greeted by the very friendly and welcoming owners, Mr. & Mrs. Moreton. The CL site is flat, with pitches that are very spacious, with pleasent views of the surrounding countryside. There is a small informaion room to assist visitors and there are two bicycles that are available(should you care to us them). Mr.& Mrs. Moreton, monitor the site daily and where always there to offer friendly help and advice. The CL, is secluded, quite and kept in immaculate condition.Without any doubt this has got to be ,The very Best CL in Lincolnshire. From Jan & John Simpson

another great stay

this is a lovely site. Now boasting 2 fields. We have just returned from 3 nights here on the new " Barn Field" Stunning views across the fields. Did our usual walks with dogs who love being able to run for miles. It is very good value for money. The owners couldn't be more helpful and we will certainly return. Just hope it doesn't get too popular or we will never get a space!!!
