Caister-On-Sea Certificated Locations

A seaside town on the Norfolk coast, Caister-on-Sea boasts beautiful sandy beaches, grassy dunes and plenty of things to see and do.

Caister Castle was built in 1432, and much of the building is now in ruins. However, the 90-foot tower remains intact, and visitors can climb to the top to enjoy the splendid views.

The castle is also is home to one of the largest private collections of motor vehicles in Great Britain, with cars dating from 1893 to the present.

Other highlights include the partially excavated remains of the Roman 'Saxon Shore' fort and Caister Lifeboat Station, which includes a visitor centre and is run by the country's only independent lifeboat crew.
