Firstly, the positives: Great location, very friendly and helpful owner, reasonably priced. The negatives: 1. At the entrance to the site is now a wooden triangular feature which meant that with the bends ahead and the overgrown hedges, getting a long caravan in proved very tricky and resulted in scratches from the hedges on the side of van. 2. As previously mentioned the issue of one toilet shared between the adjoining glamping site. In addition on the bank holiday Sunday there was a load of campers and marquee arrived for a family party in the afternoon. We were warned of this, however this meant that 50 + party goers were also sharing the one toilet. 3. The bins were very smelly and not emptied frequently enough. 4. Noise!!! Every weekend and more so on the BH weekend the Glampers were very noisy into the wee small hours. On the Sunday night that was added to by the family party. If you have children trying to get to sleep it can prove very difficult. My son has a sleep disorder and was very upset by the noise, as if he wakes, he finds it very difficult to get back to sleep. Overall, we loved the location and the owner was very friendly and helpful, but we won't be back due to the noise and difficult access (that had changed since we had driven out and checked it out earlier in the year.)

We have just spent 4 days at swallow park and chose this site because of the wonderful reviews, but there are 2 serious issues which need to be addressed.
Their are 6 pitches on the CL and in the next field is a campsite with people coming onto the CL to share the ONE toilet. After queuing and using this convenience you are then faced with cold water to wash your hands and no drying facilities whatsoever. The need for more than one toilet was obvious to everybody I spoke to.
The second serious problem with the CL was the EHU . The caravan pitches are around the perimeter of the field but the one and only EHU point was in the middle,so all the leads were stretched across the field and were being driven over regularly. These leads have to be completely unfolded before use and not abused in any way.
On a more positive note the CL is easy to find , the people who run the site are very pleasant and all the attractions are within easy reach by car. With better facilities £12 per night all in would be classed as value for money.

What a lovely site this is. Didn't really want to tell everybody about this site as wanted to keep it to myself, but the way you are welcomed and site facilities needed to be told. The site is kept immaculate, grass is cut regularly and toilet and showers are kept really clean. On arrival was met by Sean and shown to our pitch, he showed us where all water, waste and electric was, he even lent us an extension lead as ours wasn't long enough. There is a lovely field adjoining the cl that is great for letting your dogs have a run. All this for £11 a night, what a bargain! We will definitely be back
