View and BookFoxhills is situated on the outskirts of the pretty village of Weybourne in North Norfolk's area of outstanding natural beauty. Our large entrance is shared with the popular Muckleburgh Military Museum (follow the brown tourist signs).
The Coast Hopper bus (which also takes dogs) has a request stop outside our entrance, making this the perfect site for motorhome owners to easily travel up and down the Norfolk coast.
For walkers and dog owners there is a footpath opposite our entrance leading to Telegraph Hill with vast open access land to wander over. Also Muckleburgh Hill, 150 metres along the coast road, has more open access land with stunningly beautiful views up and down the coast. A path from here leads down to the pebble beach with very deep water which is popular for sea fishing all year round. There is also a handy car park by the beach in the village. Sheringham has the nearest sandy beach.
There is freshly made coffee available in The Village Store. The Ship Inn is well patronised with a good local menu. The nearby Pheasant Hotel serves bar meals and has a fine cuisine restaurant for a special night out.
The famous Poppy Line steam railway operates from Weybourne railway station which is 1.8km away and connects to Sheringham and Holt and both of these towns have plenty of shopping facilities. Popular days out from Foxhills include the National Trust properties of Sheringham Hall, Felbrigg Hall and Blickling Hall and seal trips to Blakeney Point.

We have just returned after spending 3 nights at Foxhills and found it a truly amazing site! The site itself is very well laid out with the CL part tucked towards the top of the field surrounded by a hedge, we were a short notice booking so the CL was full but we didn’t mind and were booked on ‘blue tit’ pitch which was lovely. There are so many lovely little touches to the site from the quirky little garden ornaments near the reception to the beautiful plants and the grapevine with an abundance of grapes hanging from it, we were told it was fine to help ourselves to these. This all leads to the toilets and washing up area which is decorated in a sort of shabby chic/country style which suited the feel of the site perfectly. Owners were lovely and everything is very well organised, on arrival we were given paperwork which clearly told us which pitch we were on and included a map outlining local info. All in all a lovely site and we would definitely return here. Well worth a visit is the Muckleburgh Military collection’ which is right next door to the site…£12 entry fee and it is well worth more than that…so much to see and it exceeded our expectations!
