Why stay here ...

Our CL offers splendid views across open countryside and is situated on a pub site so you have the convenience of the bar and restaurant nearby. We have many tourist attractions nearby such as:-

The quaint seaside resort of Filey is positioned on the Yorkshire coast and is the perfect place for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. Bursting with all the appeal of a traditional Edwardian coastal town, Filey offers olde worlde charm. To complement the town's natural heritage there are many award winning gardens to stroll through. There is a 5 mile stretch of clean, sandy, award winning beach with many nature trails around the town or across the magnificent Filey Brigg a haven for a variety of birds and wildlife. Surfing, fishing, yachting, golf, walking and bird watching are just a few of the activities that can be enjoyed here.

Other things to do around the area include:-

Sewerby Hall (located just 6 miles away) a Grade I listed country house set in 50 acres of landscaped gardens in a dramatic cliff top location. Flamborough Head (6.5m away) stands 400 feet high with spectacular areas of chalk cliffs and has one of the largest sites of nesting birds in England. Just 4 miles north of Flamborough Head is Bempton Cliffs RSPB reserve which has a visitors' centre and is a family favourite with more than 200,000 birds (from April to August) which makes the cliffs seem alive with adults bringing food to their nests or young chicks making their first faltering flights. Please check with the RSPB before visiting as some redevelopment work is taking place to improve things but public footpaths will remain accessible.

Scarborough - the popular seaside resort of Scarborough is also within easy reach and boasts beautiful beaches, including the safe, sandy North Bay, perfect for families. For those interested in fossil hunting, a visit to the chalk cliffs at Danes Dyke is a must.

Please note that we now have showers and toilets available on site. There is a  park and ride service at Bridlington and Filey into the town centres.

Robert looks forward to welcoming you to his CL.

Jackpot not honeypot

Honeypot Inn
Just come back from 3 night stay here and what a cracking little site.Owner was there to greet us given choice of pitches and he called round early morning to show his face every morning.the view was stunning and facility wise hook up water and waste were all provided just as a cl site should.Feel for the owners as they get some bad reviews but for £20 a night with electric you can't go wrong.Pub did cracking meals at a good price with good selection of drinks also at a good price.Andy the bar manger was very chatty and could set up as tourist information and let you know anything you asked.Overall will definitely be back (already booked).thanks guys

Facilities are awful

Honeypot Inn
Don’t waste your money. We have just got home from here. I really wish I would have gone and looked at the toilet and shower block before I paid. If I would have seen it I would have ran. I don’t think it has been cleaned for months. The shower was £1 for 6 minutes which we don’t mind paining but I do mind when I have a shower and I feel I need another shower to get clean from using the shower. There is a busy road right next to where you pitch up which is used all night. Pub is only open for food from 4pm till 8pm and you couldn’t just go in for a drink. One thing I have learnt is to read reviews before booking. Everyone that was there was not happy. I do think they need reviewing from the caravan and motorhome club.

Totally Disgusting facilities

Honeypot Inn
Just had a week staying here. The caravan club need to visit this place, the toilet and shower facilities are the worst I have ever seen. Filthy, no toilet paper, bins not emptied all week, broken tiles falling off the wall. Never see the owners unless you go into pub, which is also dirty and out of order toilet. Their website is so out of date as nothing advertised is actually there. Pub not open through the week. As a member I request the club do an inspection ASAP so other members don't book this site and be disappointed.

VERY PLEASED WITH HONEYPOT INN

Honeypot Inn
We arrived and hooked up - Its obvious where the pitches are so no need for guidance as it couldn't have been easier. Field very pleasant and mown to perfection Evenings extremely peaceful Owner friendly and helpful not over familiar - just the right balance we are fairly reserved and private so that was a major plus for us Due to my husbands health we didn't use the pub on site due to Covid which was a shame as they would be very accommodating regarding our Vegan diet We would definitely return if travelling in the area again

Poor communication/ dirty facilities

Honeypot Inn
Was booked for a 5 day stay. Once booking confirmed never heard back from them. Emails and phone calls ignored. Pulled up anyway onto the site. Refuse lorry parked in car park. Rang number to ask for pitch location. No reply. Sat in car park for half an hour, tried phone number again, y Knocked on doors, no reply. Had a look at the so called facilities, absolutely disgusting. Drove off site and found a lovely non cm site lebberston touring park, absolute gem of a find ,
