Why stay here ...
Our Adults only Certificated Location is situated in the centre of one of Yorkshires most picturesque villages.
Hutton-le-Hole with its meandering stream and sheep grazed village green, nestles at the southern edge of the North York Moors and is a perfect area for walking, cycling, exploring by car or just relaxing.
The seaside towns of Scarborough, Whitby and the city of York are all just a 40 minute car journey through quite simply stunning countryside. Other local attractions include Castle Howard, NYM Railway, Eden Camp and Ryedale Folk Museum. An information point is on site.
For eating out we are spoilt for choice in the local area. The Crown in Hutton-le-Hole is a 200 yard stroll or the pubs at Lastingham, Appleton-le-Moors or Gillamoor, all offer good food and are within 1 hours walk. Next door to the CL the Forge Tea Room will tempt you with everything from a full English breakfast to barista coffee and mouth-watering cakes.
For something to take home why not visit The Chocolate Factory or the other Craft Workshops in the centre of the Village. For a range of craft courses please contact them directly for opening times and course availability.
Our dog friendly site is open all year and has access to numerous walking or cycling routes so we can offer you a caravan or motorhome break at any time of the year.

We already have a very good acquaintance with Hutton le Hole and the surrounding area, having a daughter, son-in-law and two grandkids about 4 miles away. We had seen this wonderful little site and decided that, as soon as we were the owners of a Campervan, we would visit, especially if we were required to carry out "kid sitting" in Yorkshire !!. We visited between 11 and 14 May and we were not disappointed with our choice!! We can only reiterate what all the other Reviewers have said before. The owners are really helpful, friendly and full of local knowledge. The facilities are spotless and secure with keys for entry issued on arrival. As stated, the site is Adults Only and this applies also to visitors. We found this to be no problem at all and this added to the site's tranquility. The Crown Pub just up the road is lovely with excellent food and good well kept real ale. Access to the Chocolate Factory MAY just be a little TOO close for comfort if, like me, you are a Chocoholic!! I find it quite impossible not to spend far too much!! The Forge Tea Room takes you back to those days of REAL quality ENGLISH fare and, as a resident of the site, Louise has arranged a 10% discount. The (mushroom) Soup and Sandwiches were delicious!! If you are as familiar with an area as we are here, it is easy to take a more leisurely attitude about visiting the attractions on offer. However, as the weather was not really lending itself to long walks on the Bank Holiday, we met up with the family and took in our first visit to the Ryedale Folk Museum. Wonderful and a real gem with surprises round every corner!! Not much more to add, really, but I think the owners MAY be pleased if I warned all of you arriving at the gate to make sure that you hook them BOTH back before you drive through. I can thoroughly recommend Chas Atkinsons Tyres in Helmsley for excellent service!!!
Spent a few days here and the site is in tip top condition. Small Toilet/Shower Block with waste disposal, fresh water and electric hook up available. TV Reception good, but no wifi or phone signal available, so required to go to the pub (100 meters away) on a daily basis to check mails and make calls, no bad thing. Pub serves very large portions and food quality was good, dogs are more than welcome inside when eating. Access to site is good and owners are very friendly. Dog walking is available about 40 yards from site. Many long walks available from the site onto the moors. Thirsk, Whitby, Scarborough and York all within one hour drive. Will definitely return to this site.
