Daventry Certificated Locations

Located in the English county of Northamptonshire, Daventry can trace its long history all the way back to the Iron Age fort found on the town's Borough Hill, as well as to Roman buildings unearthed there.

It has a market centre and visitors can still browse the stalls every Tuesday and Friday, as well as purchase local produce from the farmers' market on the first Saturday of the month.

Enjoying a bite to eat is easy at one of the many pubs and restaurants - look for The Dun Cow, The Saracen's Head and The Coach and Horses if you want a former coaching inn.

There are also shopping opportunities in Daventry, with independent boutiques interspersed with big high street brands.

For outdoor pursuits, you won't be disappointed either. Hiking, horse riding, cycling, sailing and canal cruising are all possible in Daventry's beautiful surrounding countryside, while Daventry Country Park is just outside the town centre if you fancy a more gentle stroll.
