Why stay here ...

Our CL is set within a small working family farm in the north of Northamptonshire making it an excellent base to explore the lovely villages in the area, or as a stop-over when travelling across the country. (NB. minimum 2 night stay at weekends)

The site is located on a large field with several pitching options available.

Dogs and pets are very welcome and we have excellent dog walking facilities which are traffic and livestock free. Well behaved children are also welcome. All pitches have easy access to 16amp electric hook up. We do not charge extra for awnings.

Within a 30 minute drive we have several historic properties such as Lyveden New Bield, Rockingham Castle, Kelmarsh Hall, Lamport Hall, Boughton House, Althorp; also 5 country parks. All major supermarkets are within 2 miles, as are several village pubs.

We have donkeys and alpacas on the farm who are always pleased to meet our visitors (by arrangement) and CL visitors are welcome to help at lambing time.

Please do not hesitate to call us to discuss any queries.

We will always return a voicemail message!

Another good visit

Northfield Farm
Our second visit and this time only a short stay of 4 nights. This site is one of the most organised C L site we have stayed on in our 37 years of caravanning. A really good site and a pleasant stay. The pricing for the eclectics has been very fairly worked out and on our stay we didn't use over the allowance for our 4 days and was included in the daily pitch charge. There is some road noise depending on the weather but not enough to take away the lovely surroundings. Thank You.

Great stay at a lovely, welcoming site

Northfield Farm
Booked via the 'CL Booking' site. The owners sent me a text message the day before arrival advising of the arrival directions. (Very helpful) and gate codes. On arrival, our pitch was easily identifiable due to a helpful board The site is very secluded with tow hardstandings, Alpacas are in the field next to the site. The lovely owner visited in the he evening to ensure everything was OK. One small comment was that there was some background road noise from the A14 (not that it bothered us!). All in all, great site and booking experience. Recommended.

Excellent Easter Stay 2023

Northfield Farm
Brilliant CL. Warm friendly welcome and very helpful hosts. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and there are lots of things to do in the area for all ages. We visited the canals and Foxton Locks, do park in the top car park it's cheaper parking and the other lower car park serves the pub so is busier and has a higher parking fee. Feel very relaxed, it went too quickly and the added bonus for the Easter weekend was seeing the lambs and being offered the chance to bottle feed them. Thanks to the owners for a superb site.

Our Favourite Local Destination

Northfield Farm
We don't live far away but sometimes you don't want to travel too far and this site is an absolute gem! The owners, Frances and Tony are very welcoming, helpful and generous and the site is set in the heart of their farm. On one side you have a large arable field with a surrounding path to exercise and take in the rural views. Great for dog walking too. On the other side are fields containing their sheep, alpacas and two donkeys. As we were there during lambing season, we were very kindly allowed to help out with bottle feeding the young orphans. My wife was in her element! The site has two level hardstandings open all year round and a very well maintained lawned area offering loads of space for grass pitches with a choice of sun or shade. Access is is along a driveway with two gates offering security and a feeling of being in the heart of the countryside. The A14 can be heard at times but doesn't detract from the overall peaceful nature of this wonderful site.

Friendly and welcoming

Northfield Farm
Fabulous campsite on a working farm, tucked away down a country lane. The owners were so friendly and welcoming, we loved the entrance area with the notes for each arrival. Feeding the alpacas was such a treat, thank you! Dogs are very welcome, the only site we’ve been on that provided a paddling pool for them to cool off in! There’s also a dog walk round the field next to the site, where we saw 2 deer run across the field! It’s quite a shady site which was a godsend in the heatwave but if visiting at other times and you like the sun the hard standing pitches are probably best for you. We ate at the Hare at Loddington and the Trading Post both great food and friendly staff. Yes there’s road noise from the A14 but you get used to it. The lasting impression is of a calm and peaceful site with lovely owners, we hope to be back!
