Why stay here ...

Our CL is set within a small working family farm in the north of Northamptonshire making it an excellent base to explore the lovely villages in the area, or as a stop-over when travelling across the country.

The site is located on a large field with several pitching options available.

Dogs and pets are very welcome and we have excellent dog walking facilities which are traffic and livestock free. Well behaved children are also welcome. All pitches have easy access to 10amp electric hook up. We do not charge extra for awnings.

Within a 30 minute drive we have several historic properties such as Lyveden New Bield, Rockingham Castle, Kelmarsh Hall, Lamport Hall, Boughton House, Althorp; also 5 country parks. All major supermarkets are within 2 miles, as are several village pubs.

We have donkeys and alpacas on the farm who are always pleased to meet our visitors (by arrangement) and CL visitors are welcome to help at lambing time.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like to discuss your visit.

We will always return a voicemail message!

Greenbelt Festival, Kettering

Nice site. Easy to access and find. Nicely laid out. Fields to walk round if you have a dog or even if you don't. Alpaca's! Very friendly owners. Great for us to get to the Greenbelt Festival, August Bank Holiday weekend. Just under 15 minute drive to festival site. A14, busy road and slightly noisy at times as you are not far from it.

Why go to Kettering?

I'll tell you why, This is a great little site and a very warm welcome from Frances and Tony the owners. I agree with previous reviews 're the animals and concur with them. There are so many amazing country houses and fabulous gardens within very easy reach of the site, so much so that we are planning to go back in August to see some we couldn't fit into the 7 days we have just had. The 2 hard standing pitches are of a good size and the grass area is well kept with clippings collected. So Kettering here we come.

Beautiful site

A lovely site, very easy to reach from J7 of the A14. The site is off a quiet country lane and accessed via a drive past a couple of houses and a quiet farm. Despite being close to the A14 you only get a low drone from the traffic. One of our dogs is very noise sensitive and wasn't too bothered by the background traffic. Frances and Tony couldn't have been friendlier. Greeting us when we arrived, taking us to feed the alpacaslpacas, donkeys, and lambs. A thoroughly enjoyable break.
