Why stay here ...

Roger and Sara would like to extend a warm welcome to you on their CL.

We are conveniently located in the quaint village of Askham, just minutes from the A1 at Markham Moor but far enough away to offer you a peaceful stay.

Our CL is located on a livestock farm and the CL is set on about an acre of land surrounded by hedges, with scenic views of the rolling countryside.

We can offer you a choice of 3 hardstanding pitches and 2 grass pitches with 16amp electric hook up and recycling facilities.

Just off site you will find off-road walks ranging from 30 minutes to 2 hours and are minutes from our rally field.

A short stroll into the centre of Askham village you will find the Duke William pub serving good food and drinks, a bus stop taking you into the Georgian market town of Retford.

A little further and you will find Tuxford village there you will find a Co-op, Costcutter, post-office, chemist, butchers’ shop, hairdressers and Newsagents. Locally at Markham Moor there is a petrol station, MacDonalds, KFC and a Subway.

Well positioned new CL

Orchard Hill Farm
This is a brand new CL, which is easily located from the A1, and the welcome we received from the owners for our last minute booking was very friendly. It has lovely countryside views, and a nice looking pub within easy walking distance (not tried). Facilities all brand new and easily accessed. Chemical disposal rinse tap is from a water butt, well separated from the drinking water.

Beautiful rural stay

Orchard Hill Farm
We have stayed twice now at Orchard Hill Farm and love this new CL site and will definitely be returning. You'll find it down a country lane going into the picturesque North Nottinghamshire village of Askham, this CL provides a peaceful 5 pitch retreat with far reaching views which would be perfect for friend and family get togethers. Sara and Roger's instructions proved helpful as we found our way around the simple site. Its a working farm so we took care about where our daughter played but she had a great time, especially collecting sloe berries on our walk down to the village pub. Would recommend for couples and families and think it provides a perfect A1 stop off point due to its proximity to the Markham Moor junction of the A1 (5 minutes). We shall definitely be returning and wish to thank the owners for opening up a new CL we can add to our local favourites list. Am

Lovely CL

Orchard Hill Farm
We were one of the first to stay at this newly opened CL. It’s very easy to find by following the site owners directions, and access was easy. ( we have an 8ft wide twin axle) Take note of the instructions of how to open security gate Roger and Sara were not on site when we arrived, but not a problem as we had instructions emailed to us beforehand. We pitched up on one of the 2 grass pitches (other 3 are H/S) The pitches are slightly sloping but not a bother for us. Sara and Roger are a lovely friendly couple, and came to check we were settled in ok, and that we knew where everything was. Dog walking off site a few yards up the quiet road onto a footpath with miles of walking. A casual 10 min ish walk takes you into the village where we had a gorgeous meal in the Duke William! We only had a weekend there but booked to go back again for another chill out weekend - and to say hello to Paddy and Lola the ponies !
