Haverhill is a market town in the English county of Suffolk, close to the borders with Essex and Cambridgeshire and nestled in the chalk hills of the Newmarket Ridge.
It's a great place for a relaxing day or weekend out, as there is plenty of green space to explore. East Town Park has an incredible 50 acres of fields, complete with a maze and a children's play area to keep little ones entertained.
Should it be wet, the town also boasts the Arts Centre and Cinema, which offers a varied programme of offerings ranging from dance shows to foreign films for visitors to enjoy.
Haverhill has a range of pubs to choose from when it comes to meal times and there are the usual shops to browse, as well as independent boutiques where you can pick up gifts.
And don't leave without taking a look at the Spirit of Enterprise, an 11-metre laser-lit sculpture on the town's main roundabout that tends to divide local opinion.
