Guildford Certificated Locations

Situated in Surrey in the south-east of England, just 30 miles from central London, Guildford is a picturesque location with heaps of historic charm.

Take a stroll down the town's cobbled high street and you'll find several interesting buildings, including the 17th century Abbot's Hospital and the Guildhall, an Elizabethan structure with a clock dating from 1683.

Another popular attraction is Guildford Castle, which is thought to have been built shortly after the Norman Conquest of 1066. The grounds were opened as public gardens in 1888, and today they're a favourite destination for visitors and locals. Beds of brightly coloured flowers line the paths, and there's also a bowling green, a bandstand, a war memorial and a life-size statue of Alice Through the Looking Glass.
