Why stay here ...

Tracey and John welcome you to Nash End Farm which is nestled in the Worcestershire Countryside yet 1.2 miles from the picturesque village of Arley. Here is a tea room, the Harbour Pub, Arboretum and the famous Severn Valley Railway, where you can catch the train either to Bewdley or the market town of Bridgnorth with breath taking views of the surrounding countryside. You can stop off along the way at Highley to visit the Engine House Visitor & Education Centre.

West Midland Safari Park is roughly 6.5 miles drive away too.

Alveley, which is a 5 minute drive or a short walk away, is our neighbouring village with a shop, three pubs and the Country Park which has a play area. Ideal for families and dogs.

Lovely peaceful views and large reasonably flat pitches (very slight incline, levelling blocks available on site if required) with electric hook ups and individual water points with each pitch. Located close to the River Severn meaning there are plenty of walks, and close to Cycle Route 45. If you are a keen angler then there are fishing pools nearby. We have amazing sunsets to see whilst just relaxing and taking in the views. There is also a regular bus service to Bridgnorth (see timetables).

Bridgnorth town has a market on Saturdays and there are a good many shops, with some lovely restaurants to dine out or take away.

Dudley Zoo and The Famous Black Country Museum are roughly around 16 miles from our site. The historic towns of Much Wenlock, Ironbridge (with many museums), Shrewsbury and Ludlow are within easy driving distance, along with the Shropshire hills area of outstanding natural beauty.

Part of this large site has a very slight incline where Levelling blocks may be required.

Fab site

Nash End
Fantastic little site, our first visit but will not be our last. As mentioned there is a slight slope to the field but nothing to worry about, loads of space to turn the van around and a simple reverse onto your chosen pitch. Remember to back up to the fence as this is where Gray waste is fed and makes it easier. Bit of a hike to the Brown waste at the top of the field but again not a real issue. Nice walk down to the river, about 1.5 miles, and a lovely pub and access to Severn Valley railway. Also good fishing on the river, ask Tracey about options.

Idyllic CL in the Severn Valley

Nash End
We visited Nash End for a long weekend arriving on Friday 7th June. The CL is located on Lion Lane about 75m past the second entry to the farm. There’s a little sign at the second entry but it’s easy to miss it. Thankfully, John was on hand to direct us and the local bus very kindly backed up so that we could navigate through the 5-bar gate into the field. Tracy welcomed us and pointed out where EHU’s and water to each pitch are positioned (easy to find along the boundary ), and the grey and black water disposal point - not quite like the site photo and a bit overgrown and located at the top of the field which has a pronounced slope so it could be an issue if you have any mobility problems but was fine for me. Getting level took a little work with ramp and blocks but once set up we had the whole CL to ourselves for the weekend. Views from the CL of the River Severn valley (including periodic sightings of the trains), the Wyre Forest and farmland. The evening sunsets were just beautiful. We walked the Upper Arley Circular Path, the Severn Way upstream to the Severn Country Park, Kinver Edge and Rock Houses, Dudmaston House and Gardens. A great weekend at a lovely CL to which we will return in future.

A little gem

Nash End
We have been using CL sites for many years now - both the rough and the smooth but Nash End Farm is definitely a first class site and we would recommend it to everyone. The area is lovely with lots of walking - we walked alongside the River Severn Way several times. Dudmaston Hall and Comer Woods are within a short distance as are Harvington Hall and the Kinver Rock Houses so theres lots to do if you want to get out and about. Arley Arboretum, just down the road, has a lovely cafe which you can use even if you are not going into the Arboretum - very nice cake ! The site has wonderful views and the whole area is so peaceful. The owners are very friendly and helpful so our stay at Nash End was perfect. Thank you very much indeed.

Outstanding Little Site

Nash End
We arrived just as owners were going out for the evening, they turned back to welcome us and settle us in. Lovely big field next to orchard, very pretty and beautiful views. Only 1 mile to Arley Station on Severn Valley Railway where we attended a heritage event. Young cattle in field next door were cute but not too noisy or smelly. We will be back!

All we need from a cl

Nash End
Easy to find due to signing off the main road, a large slightly sloping field with each pitch having its own water and ehu. A standard cassette point at the top of the field (green fluid only) with waste and recycling bins. Exceptionally quiet and peaceful we had a hare mouching round our van, yet easy access to attractions, we went to Ironbridge in about 20 mins.
