Access via Narrow Lane

We spent only a couple of nights at this quiet site with our Grandson. It is remote and access is via a narrow lane with only a couple of restricted passing places. The week prior to our stay it had rained so the main site was very wet and we were placed on the hard standing used for motorhomes. The owners were very friendly but at times hard to find. The only downside to the site was the access and in the case of our Grandson lack of things to do (he doesn't like walking !!) If you want a quiet site them this is for you but sadly not us.

What's not to like!

Have been visiting this site for many years but had not been for a couple of years due to health issues. Having recently spent 8 days we realised how much we had missed it.! So peaceful, quiet. lovely views, dog walks, buzzards overhead, .! Always receive a warm welcome here and Mike & Shiela always ready to help if you have a problem. Our dog enjoys a visit from resident dog, she is very welcoming too🐕 We live only 40 minutes away but it could be 400 miles ,so restful it is! Mike is at present in the throes of adding a very nice loo . A welcome addition. It can be wet at times but good as this couple are they cannot do any thing about the weather! 🌞🌦⛈🌂Enjoy The Scotland's &Kai.

Happy caravanners

We have been using this CL site for many years and have never had a bad experience of any description. Site is always kept in immaculate condition, all pitches are grass and level with electric hook up and dog walk is kept well manicured by owners Mike and Sheila who are always very welcoming and helpful. We would recommend this site to anyone looking for a very high standard Certified location. Plenty of wildlife to see, woodpeckers, jays, deer and many other birds too numerous to mention.

Another Good Site

My wife and I have been coming to Eastfield Farm since the early noughties, we originally chose it because it had electric points and we could drive on motorway roads all the way from Gloucestershire right up to the Kincardine Bridge (now we use the nearer Clackmannanshire Bridge). We use the farm as a base to visit our Scottish relatives and on 'days off' to explore this part of Scotland. It is a large site and the Caravans can park anywhere on the ridge and furrow field and, like the majority of grass pitches, if you get constant torrential rain you can get puddles forming - but I have to say that I've never had trouble getting off the field and we've been every month from May to October over the years. In fact I'm writing the draft of this review mid-May while sitting outside my Caravan with a cold can of Diet Coke, occasionally glancing up to take in the blossom in the trees and past the wood of mixed trees right up to the line of spruces and cedars in the near distance. The house martins have arrived and are darting about, the daffodils are still bright and perky and there's bird song all around. Mike and Sheila have put in a nice walk around the farm and also a couple of hard standing areas for motorhomes and they have always made us feel very welcome!

Excellent CL Site,

we have been visiting this site close to the Ochills on a regular basis for 15 years and always had a wonderful time. site owners are always very helpful and friendly. On our last visit , in April 2018 for 8 nights ,we were unable to stay in our favourite pitch due to wet conditions ,(you often expect this in Scotland, )but we always adhere to the advice given by the site owners of where to pitch our caravan and had no problems at all. Wonderful views and walks and so peaceful making it a relaxing site to visit. We will return here time and again. Regards Kelvin and Joan from Lybster ,Caithness.
