Twinlaw View is on the lower slopes of the Lammermuir Hills in the Scottish Borders. Our touring site has five spacious non-electric grass pitches, surrounded by panoramic views of the rolling countryside, big open skies and dark star-filled skies at night.

It’s only a 5 minute walk to the 200 year old village pub, The Old Thistle Inn where you can enjoy an evening meal. All members can use our wild meadow dog walk, and there is a public single track road which runs alongside the site suitable for dog walkers.

Our site is named after the historic Twin Law Cairns which can be seen in the distance on the heather covered moorland. They can be easily visited from the Water Water Reservoir & Fishery car park by walking along this easy section of the Southern Upland Way.

Twinlaw View is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful coastline at St Abb’s Head Nature Reserve, visiting UNESCO World Heritage Site Edinburgh just 45 mins drive away, and heading south to Holy Island of Lindisfarne in Northumberland. You can experience the high-speed thrills of The Jim Clark Rally and Motorsport Museum in Duns, only a 15 minutes drive.
