Why stay here ...
Straid CL site is 2 miles East of Callander just off the A84, It is an all grass pitch. Great walking and cycling straight from site. The old disused railway line gives direct access to Callander by foot or bike or you can go further on the sustrans 7 route.
We are the gateway to the Trossachs and National park, with plenty to see and do including Castles, Lochs, Horse-riding and great walks for all abilities.
For the children, a great day out at Blair Drummond Safari Park. Callander has plenty of restaurants and shops.
We have no electric hook up, but can charge battery if required.
