Stayed here during storm Agnes and very glad we did. Lovely site with excellent hardstanding. WiFi, hookup and very good value at £18. Would stay again.

Great CL for one night stopover

Cae Ceiro
Stayed one night travelling from north to south Wales and this CL was great for this. Quiet and facilities good. Didn’t get to meet the hosts but spoke to them on the phone for the security number of the gate. Pub & Chinese takeaway within walking distance and although we never used it there was a park and ride further down the road to Aberystwyth.

Lovely site

Cae Ceiro
Great site, well maintained, water and EHU on hard standing pitches. Pub and cafe/craft centre 10 mins stroll from site. Secure coded main gate. Easy booking and payment by bacs. Cycle to Borth beach and Aberystwyth. Great area for walking dogs. Good to see a reasonable price with EHU. Well done you will be always be busy with these standards and prices.

Peaceful, well kept site

Cae Ceiro
Very clean flat site with water and ehu on each pitch. No toilet or shower block. We stayed overnight to visit Aberystwyth, which was very easy with the bus stop less than 10 mins walk away and only 20 mins into the centre. Pub only a few mins walk away which did reasonable food. Would definitely return.

A good base for visiting the area

Cae Ceiro
We stayed at Cae Ceiro for two weeks in June 2023. The site is very neat and tidy with good sized and level hardstandings and easy access to nearby roads. The site is fairly new, so the plants have yet to grow to screen the site and provide more shade. There is a road fairly nearby but the road noise wasn't too intrusive (there were road works when we were there but once this is finished it will be better). The location is ideal for visiting local places of interest. We loved the Osprey Project, RSPB Ynys Hir, Ynyslas beach & Nature Reserve and Bwlch Nant y Arian Forest Red kite feeding. We rode on the Vale of Rheidol and Tallylyn railways, walked Devils Bridge and Tregaron Bog and saw the sights in Aberystwyth where we watched the dolphins from the promenade. We went on a dolphin watching trip from New Quay and visited NT Llanerchaeron which was lovely. We were impressed by how many places in the area were disability friendly. We put up our bird feeder and saw so many birds including red kites, swallows, collared doves, tawny owl (heard), goldfinches, buzzards, Chaffinches, and a pair of Great spotted woodpeckers and their chick. There were alos lots of rabbits to keep us amused with their antics. Had a great time - thank you!
