Why stay here ...

EdenX welcomes you to Ffynnongrog at Mwnt in West Wales. This fantastic location is walking distance to Mwnt beach and the coastal path. The grass pitches will enjoy breath-taking sea views and summer sunsets. This site has a small amount of pitches so it has a nice private feel. Mwnt Beach is top rated and the number one thing to do in Cardigan. It's a hotspot for viewing seals, dolphins & whales. There is a pleasant little kiosk open at the beach for teas, coffee, cakes and more! A great starting place for your walk or a handy convenience while enjoying the beach.

Our quiet camping site is easily accessed and has a large open driveway. Located only 10 minutes from Cardigan. Cardigan is a thriving little town with lots of local shops & restaurants along with larger supermarkets. There are many enjoyable attractions in and around the area, just 5 minutes down the lanes from Ffynnongrog there is a playbarn for kids which is well reviewed by our previous guests and great for a morning or afternoon.

The Shed at Mwnt is located right next door which has weekend events. It's a rustic converted farm shed with a bar, occasional live bands and the same incredible views.

Take a look at our website www.edenx.co.uk to find out what else to do in the area.

We are close to other popular beaches along with being well positioned to explore more of West and South Wales.

If you're after a relaxing stay, close to the beach with incredible sea views then Ffynnongrog is the ultimate location, unrivalled and utterly stunning.

Nothing but an ex farming field for £20

Ffynnon Grog
I feel a bit cheated by this site. Yes, the views are to die for. But the field in which you park your caravan has not been manicured from when it was a farming field. I don’t expect perfectly manicured field. But I may as well knock on the door of the local farmer and pitch in their field. That is all you get apart from fresh water and chemical waste disposal. For £20 a night with no electric, I would have expected the caravan field to be nice and smooth and easy to pitch. No, you need levelling and getting your caravan across the field wasn’t easy either. It was so uneven. Getting to the site involves a few miles of narrow, busy, single track road. If this site worked on their pitching field and reduced their price by 100% then I might consider going back. Although it is difficult to get to. It would be worth it. But this is a good example of someone taking advantage of the increase in caravans and motor homes since Covid and opening the field, putting in waste and a water tap and charging a lot to park there. I’m surprised the Caravan club gave them the certificate
