EdenX welcomes you to Ffynnongrog at Mwnt in West Wales. This fantastic location is walking distance to Mwnt beach and the coastal path. The grass pitches will enjoy breath-taking sea views and summer sunsets. This site has a small amount of pitches so it has a nice private feel. Mwnt Beach is top rated and the number one thing to do in Cardigan. It's a hotspot for viewing seals, dolphins & whales. There is a pleasant little kiosk open at the beach for teas, coffee, cakes and more! A great starting place for your walk or a handy convenience while enjoying the beach.
Our quiet camping site is easily accessed and has a large open driveway. Located only 10 minutes from Cardigan. Cardigan is a thriving little town with lots of local shops & restaurants along with larger supermarkets. There are many enjoyable attractions in and around the area, just 5 minutes down the lanes from Ffynnongrog there is a playbarn for kids which is well reviewed by our previous guests and great for a morning or afternoon.
The Shed at Mwnt is located right next door which has weekend events. It's a rustic converted farm shed with a bar, occasional live bands and the same incredible views.

beautiful sea views

Had 5 days here early March. lovely views over the sea. very tidy and well kept site. Water, Elsan and waste excellent. site really relaxing which is just what we wanted. Local coastal walks amazing. beach 10 mins walk. beautiful bay. no dogs May - September on beach though.
would definitely return.

I can’t really add to the owner’s description or the other reviews. The views over Cardigan Bay from this huge site are unsurpassable, close to the fabulous beach at Mwnt and the Wales Coastal Path without being surrounded by a large number of other people. Total peace and quiet and best night sky I’ve seen in ages. A warm and helpful welcome from Scott added to the pleasure of our brief stay (attending a family wedding at The Shed) and the lack of hook up wasn’t an issue since the sun shone everyday!

Beautiful elevated location with stunning sunsets and views of Foel y Mwnt. Ideal place to get away from it all as we had no mobile signal (Vodaphone). Short walk downhill to Mwnt beach and Ceredigion coast path. Excellent basic facilities. Very pleasant and friendly host. Will definitely be back!

Amazing location

I feel I need to balance the previous review. The position of this site is unbeatable, the views fantastic, the coast picturesque, the beach 5 minutes walk away. Communication prior to arrival was good and the chemical disposal and water tap clean and newly installed. The only reason I didn't award 5 stars is the lack of hook up, that would complete a perfect CL. Yes, the field was a bit lumpy in places, but not so as to cause any real problem, and yes the lanes are narrow, that is why it is a peaceful and quiet site. The question of cost is a subjective one, if you want what this site offers then you may decide £20 is cheap, if not then you have plenty of choice in the vacinity. Overall, this is one of the best CLs I have stopped on and would not hesitate to highly recommend it.
