Gem of a site

Orchard Park Farm
We really loved this site. Off the beaten track but that’s what we like! Friendly owner, great views and superb beach to explore. Lovely village in walking distance with fab pub, shop and two great cafes. Doggy heaven in terms of local walks. Site slopes but pitches are provided with extra blocks/wooden ramps etc. basic facilities are good. Lane can be a bit daunting for novice driver due to being narrow in places. We loved our stay and will be back!

Location location

Orchard Park Farm
Just what I like, a small quiet site with basic facilities but in in a great location. Shortest route to the beach is about 10 minutes. And what a beach! What seems like miles of clean sand with almost nobody on it, and that is on a sunny day in the school holidays. Wonderful. The walks from the site are stunning. Excellent value. Highly recommended.

Peaceful and Scenic

Orchard Park Farm
We spent a few days on this site and enjoyed it beautiful sea views and sunsets. The site is accessed via quite narrow lanes and is well kept, with mown and collected grass. It has water and waste disposal facilities. The rubbish and recycling is kept separate. It is on a slope so you will need bring levellers / chocks All in all its quite basic, with no EHU, but is in a super location if you like long beach and cliff walks. The coastal path is easily accessed via a short road walk, which leads straight to a footpath. The village with pub / restaurant is within easy walking distance and there is a small shop selling essentials.

Lovely CL

Orchard Park Farm
We have stayed here a couple of times as it is nice and close to my mums static caravan just down the road. If you have never been to the Gower then you are missing out! I am Welsh and have been to the Gower every year since the age of 3, I am now 47! Absolutely beautiful area with stunning beaches. The CL is very nice. Quite steep on coming into the field but nothing too challenging. The roads from Gowerton can get narrow but with a little forward vision you can avoid any unnecessary reversing! Broughton Bay is a fantastic beach accessed through Whiteford Caravan Park. The beach has no car park and because of this is beautifully quiet even on a sunny bank holiday! It is also North facing so does not have many waves to speak of. Rhossili is facing west and is a world renowned beach and sufers paradise. Hillend campsite has a car park for £3 per day. They also have a shop and café there. Finally there is a low bridge at Gowerton which you will go under if you have come off the M4 at J47. I have a MH which is 3.15 high. I clear the bridge with plenty of room too spare. It is marked up at 11' ( 3.35m ) but that is conservative. As long as you know your outfit height you will be fine!

Peaceful

Orchard Park Farm
Lovely quiet Cl. Easy access into field but roads are quite narrow on approach.  Views across to Tenby and about a 15 minute walk to beach passing a cafe on the way where  there is also a car park at a cost of £3 a day. There are stunning walks of all grades straight from the cl and is about 10 minute walk to the all Wales coast path..  The Brittania pub is well worth a visit as the food and ale are both excellent and you can burn off a few calories on the walk back .The community shop has basic supplies and also is an off licence and  Part time post office. Part sloping so make sure you have levelling blocks . Mr Hoskin keeps the grass mown and excellently presented and is ideal for a family with toddlers as they can run free and will always be in sight. We have used this cl a few times now and have enjoyed every time and will return .
