Why stay here ...

Ramslade Club Site is nestled attractively between the River Dart and the coast offering facilities that won't disappoint. The site is ideal for families, with plenty to keep everyone entertained in the local area and a playing field on site. This caravan park affords beautiful hillside views from most of its pitches and is only a mile from Stoke Gabriel, one of Devon's prettiest villages. Crabbing at low tide is an absolute tradition in the area and easy river access to the village makes this an excellent centre for exploring towns along the English Riviera such as Torquay, Paignton and Brixham.

Within the lovely South Hams area of Devon, Ramslade Club Site also offers easy access to the inland attractions of Dartmoor and the busting cities of Plymouth and Exeter. The convenient location of the caravan site will also give you the opportunity to explore a number of National Trust properties. For walking enthusiasts, the numerous coastal pathways are guaranteed to give hours of scenic pleasure. For a fun day out with the kids, don't miss the Splashdown water park at Goodrington.

Lovely site.

This is our first visit, and we will be back again.Situated only a couple of hours from our home,it's a relatively easy tow.Yes the last bit needs caution ,but living in west Cornwall it didn't faze us.We found a warm welcome,a site that's was very well looked after.Beautiful views, and surrounding country side. The pitches are in two area's we chose a grass pitch as we prefer to be on grass. Out of the site, the nearby parkers arms is a good place for a carvery or steak meal. The dog walk is great, and was enjoyed by our two dogs.

Lovely site

This is a lovely site, been here many times before, and just returned from a few days stay. I was shocked to hear of reviews regarding travellers. However when we were there it was wonderful . As always clean and well looked after. Here's hoping our sites are not taken over by the travellers.

An Extended Stay for Us ...

I must admit the lane to Ramslade is tight in places, but there are plenty of passing bays and if everyone arrives after 12 noon, as stated, there shouldn't be a problem. Most cars drive slowly and let the larger vehicles pass. The facilities are very clean and warm. The site is also clean and tidy and easy to find your way around. The scenery is amazing with views of the rolling hills in every direction. We were lucky with the weather over the bank holiday and with that in mind we decided to extend our stay. The very important dog walk was huge and fenced in on all sides (and probably the best place for mobile phone reception). Our Wardens were so very friendly and handy with a TV aerial :-) We were very lucky to have great neighbours too. Thank you to everyone we met. We will see you again soon Best wishes

Excellent stay

After a nightmare of a journey, where our tyre burst and smashed a hole in the caravan floor, we eventually arrived at Ramslade. Wardens very welcoming and understanding and did everything they could to settle us in. Have to be honest, we were apprehensive after reading a few negative reviews recently, but the site was lovely. Peaceful, clean and the facilities were excellent. The dog walking field is huge and I can confirm that the park has been repaired- I watched them do it! Our neighbours either side and along our road were brilliant. The only negative was a very poor phone signal - but the WiFi was available.

Excellent site

We have just spent another 9 glorious nights here at Ramslade and everything was great. The wardens are very helpful and do an excellent job in keeping everything looking good. The weather was very good to us and it just got hotter as the week went on and we can’t wait to come back in October.
