Why stay here ...

The Grafham Water Club Site is a peaceful, six acre oasis where you can relax and unwind. Located a mere 0.5 mile west of picturesque Grafham village in Huntingdon, the caravan park is ideal those who enjoy a slow wander in charming settings. It is also a short walk to Grafham Water, popular as an international centre for trout fishing, windsurfing and major sailing events.

Boasting green, level pitches, a heated swimming pool and a children's play area, Grafham Water Club Site also has at its centre a 350-year old cottage, once owned by the Oliver Cromwell family. Part of the moat that surrounded the estate still exists, providing an excellent haven for local wildlife, especially our family of ducks. For those who like some energetic fun, cycling, horse riding, tennis, golf and carting are just some of the activities near the caravan site to keep you entertained. For those interested in history, The nearby Imperial War Museum, Duxford Air Museum, is well worth a visit.

There is now a community run village shop in Grafham selling essentials and groceries. Also a mobile fish and chip van visits this site, please ask site staff for details.

Bonfire weekend at Gratham Water.

Enjoyed bonfire night at the local village hall! A very quiet site, park only suitable for under 5s, so my 9 and 11 year old were a bit disappointed! Visited Grantham waters.. Nice lake and park! Not a lot else here though! We had a service pitch, although there were a lot of empty service pitches my parents were told they couldn't have one? ?? The shop was closed as out of season! Ideal site if you want peace and quiet! The wardens keep a strict eye on the sight at all times!

Late autumn colour

We had a serviced pitch, first time for us, and really appreciated it. It would have been helpful though if the shop stocked lengths if waste hose, I had to find an accessory shop to obtain sufficient length. Also, no gas refill, so had to search for a supplier. Despite these issues we enjoyed the site and would visit it again.

Wonderful small site

Have just returned from a few days on this lovely site.  Even though it was the end of the season  the weather was perfect.  Grafham Water Caravan park is lovely, quiet and the cleanest toilet and shower block we've used (this is our 12th caravan club site this year).  This is a smallish site but well kept with lovely friendly wardens.  Being the end of the season the grass pitches were closed but plenty of hard standing and we had a choice on arrival.  There is even a semi resident owl who attracts lots of attention and is very amenable in posing for photos!!  One thing be warned the site shop isnt well stocked so take provisions. However there is a community shop in Grafham about 5-10 mins cycle ride away.   Close to Grafham Water so take your bikes.  Its a nice ride around the lake with a couple of cafes half way around each way as well as a pub in Perry. Definitely looking forward to our next visit.

Great site in excellent coutryside

Very good site, in close proximity to the Lake and a couple of good pubs, the Mermaid at Ellington being our favourite. The site was rather crammed when we arrived as the weather had not been good and many pitches were waterlogged. But we had a good stay at a very clean site. meeting up with friends at St Ives at the Dolphin beside the Great Ouse River. We will hope to visit again.

Grafham again

returned to Grafham again for the 6th time now in as many years, usually as a long weekend stay. Easy access of the A1 but with a single track road for the last 500 yds or so, but its not too tight. Great for walking/cycling round the Reservoir (no traffic ) or round the local roads/cycle routes. Lovely Indian restaurant close by, but closed at the mo due to a fire. Local Pubs in Buckden & Perry very good. A clean, quiet and well kept site. Freindly Wardens - We'll be back again!!!
