Why stay here ...

Elegantly sloping towards open farmland, Bearsted Club Site offers the tranquillity of these open fields, one of which is a horse paddock where equine enthusiasts can enjoy the proximity of these beautiful creatures.

Bearsted Club Site is conveniently located to explore the beautiful countryside of Kent, often termed The Garden of England for its lovely appeal. Nature lovers will find hours of pleasure exploring this famous English countryside whilst the caravan park also gives you the opportunity to absorb the ambience of days gone by at the nearby Leeds Castle. For shopping, local treats and fun family attractions, the historic town of Maidstone is a short distance away and slightly further along the North Kent coastline the seaside towns of Whitstable and Margate never fail to charm. If golf or fishing is what you most enjoy then this site is ideal, with a beautiful golf course just down the road and Majors fishing lake about a mile away you won't be disappointed. You will also find a variety of National Trust properties within easy reach. A convenient bus stop is located at the site entrance for access to all these attractions. Nearby local amenities include several pubs, a petrol station and supermarket.

There are better CC sites.

Nice site, but on a fairly busy spring half term looks crowded. Grass pitches (50- 65) need quite a lot of side to side levelling, whilst handstands on the same stretch have been terraced. Some pitches flood, whilst we wer here, pitches 32 and 48 were particularly bad. Still upset by the selfish “caravaners”, who don’t feel it’s necessary to leave the facilities as found. I had to clean the scum off the washbasins before I used them. And then there is the hideous outfit beside me that has been surrounded by tacky Poundland windbreaks. I know you park corner on to the peg, but then why is there no limits, had my car not been “parked” when they arrived, I am sure they would have grabbed even more ground. Check my Tripadvisor review, to see the photo!! If you don’t wish to confirm and share this style of “holidaying”, then please sell your outfit, and move on. I wish the CC would add pitch limit points, as well as the pitch marker post!! Do not arrive before 1pm, you cannot check-in, 4 outfits and the queue will be out onto a very busy road. The noise from the mototorway and railway line is constant.

Needs additional grey water

Site itself is fine with ample fresh water points, however only 1 grey water point which was miles away from us. My back not great tonight having lugged a wastemaster 3/4 of the way around site to only waste point. Won’t book again unless service pitch available or this is improved.

Weekend Getaway

This was our first visit we had pitch No 32 it was very big, infact all the pitches are big I was very surprised, we wanted to find a local site that we can just get away for the weekend and this is just perfect for us, Leeds Castle is the main reason that I wanted to visit as you get 25% off your tickets and they last all year, so I have booked in again for the xmas markets, there is so much to do at Leeds Castle you can never get fed up. The showers were so clean and the water lovely and hot, can't wait to come back in December now, and all the staff were so friendly. From our pitch we watched the fireworks at Leeds Castle so that was even better.

Hard To Fault

As the title says, it is very hard to fault this site except the dog walk which is poor and very sharp stones on the path which our dog didn't like and even with good shoes on I could feel them!

Lovely site

This is our first stay at Bearsted. We stayed one night. The site is clean, tidy and well maintained. The staff are helpful and friendly. It is in a perfect position for visiting Leeds Castle which is about ten minutes drive. Walking to Leeds Castle is possible but it would not be a nice walk as the roads are busy and there are no continuous foot paths. We would use this site again. Thank you.
