Why stay here ...

Elegantly sloping towards open farmland, Bearsted Club Site offers the tranquillity of these open fields, one of which is a horse paddock where equine enthusiasts can enjoy the proximity of these beautiful creatures.

Bearsted Club Site is conveniently located to explore the beautiful countryside of Kent, often termed The Garden of England for its lovely appeal. Nature lovers will find hours of pleasure exploring this famous English countryside whilst the caravan park also gives you the opportunity to absorb the ambience of days gone by at the nearby Leeds Castle. For shopping, local treats and fun family attractions, the historic town of Maidstone is a short distance away and slightly further along the North Kent coastline the seaside towns of Whitstable and Margate never fail to charm. If golf or fishing is what you most enjoy then this Kent caravanning site is ideal, with a beautiful golf course just down the road and Majors fishing lake about a mile away you won't be disappointed. You will also find a variety of National Trust properties within easy reach. A convenient bus stop is located at the site entrance for access to all these attractions. Local go to site

Have stayed at this site many times it is our go to site. Easy access to visit various parts of Kent. Always a nice clean and tidy site. The wardens are excellent and nothing is too much trouble for them. Have more visits planned.

Too noisy for us.

We have stayed at Bearsted on several occasions and, although the nearby roads could be heard, were not overly disturbed by them. Our latest stay, however, was markedly different. The nearby A road and Motorway were very noisy indeed. Added to this was the Rookery on site. It was Springtime and they were, I think, nest building. The noise started at dawn and it disturbed both our sleeps. My husband is slightly deaf and an extremely sound sleeper and even he complained. We have decided, with regret, that we will not stay at Bearsted again.

Good location and a nice place!

Second visit to the site, during covid restrictions and found the site to be very well run with friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. The site was spotless and nice and peaceful, though on this occasion only about 30% full. (previous visits was busier, but still peaceful!). There is a small amount of road noise, but not intrusive. I do feel that maybe only 2 people in the facilities is a little low, maybe 3 or even 4 would be ok. However, had no issues when we wanted to use them. Overall a couple of nice visits and will no doubt be visiting again!

Geocaching Trip

Stayed for 3 nights that we only booked on the day and the friendly staff sorted a pitch out for us no problem. Did not use the toilet block due to the current situation. We go out Geocaching and in doing this went around the area on our bikes, we liked the village green area of Bearsted .No real problem with the traffic noise, yes you hear it but not too bad . Getting in out the site on bikes can be a small problem due to traffic speed at the entrance.
