Immaculate site

Winchester Morn Hill Club Campsite
This was my third visit and I wasn’t disappointed. The site is absolutely immaculate - large level pitches that are beautifully kept, and first class refurbished facilities which were spotless. The wardens were lovely, as always, smiling and saying hello at every opportunity. The site was fully booked yet didn’t feel busy at all. I love this place and will keep coming back.

Helpul Wardens

Winchester Morn Hill Club Campsite
We stayed here for one night on our trip home from France. Following a tiring drive in France and then a ferry we arrived in the evening to find that the one 'awning pitch' that remained free was in a part of the site that wouldn't guarantee a quiet nights sleep away from the worst of the site lighting. The women on duty that evening quickly swapped us to a free 'non-awning' pitch and advised a quiet area of the site. We had a good restful night before another long journey the following day. Thanks very much to both of them. This is a site we use a few times a year and we always find the site and facilities to be maintained to a high standard.

First class conveniently located site

Winchester Morn Hill Club Campsite
Having lived in the area we had never stayed at Morn Hill. However returning to visit friends the location was ideal. We found the site to be immaculate and well maintained with friendly helpful staff. Our hardstanding pitch (lower site) was of a good size and level. You can hear traffic noise but we did not find it intrusive. What you think will depend on your tolerance level. Like the way the shower block has been refurbished. Not the standard cream! For people new to the area there are many areas to walk and cycle and places to see eg, Wincheater, Portsmouth historic dockyard, Hinto Ampner (NT) and Jane Austens house Chawton. Quick and easy access from M3.

Handy

Winchester Morn Hill Club Campsite
Yes this site has been refurbished, very nice too. Facilities were excellent. Yes the traffic noise from the dual carriage however we were on the serviced pitches in the dip. Noise levels not so bad as the upper site. Being motorhomers the essential item for us is public transport. The bus service to Winchester is regular so a great stay

Lovely site near Winchester

Winchester Morn Hill Club Campsite
Firstly we have to say we cannot understand people complaining about the road noise. When booking any campsite surely you look at the location, so you'd know it's by the busy A31 !! Yes there's road noise, but it's only motorbikes that can be annoying, we all know that ! Refurbished facilities are lovely. Pitches well spaced out, and a small dedicated dog walking area on the lower site section. Easy access into Winchester. We chose the Chesil Car park, a 5 minute walk to the bottom of the town. Had a good 40 minute walk to a brilliant dog friendly pub The Golden Lion. Food was delicious and they accommodated gluten free choices, though not the best we've had was good.
