Its two fields are divided by dry stone walls, which are very characteristic of this area. There are numerous walking paths from which you can explore the splendid surrounding countryside, and plenty of dog-friendly walks nearby. Situated in this loveliest of National Parks, the site has excellent facilities.

Wharfedale Club Campsite puts you within easy reach of Grassington, one of the most picturesque villages in the Yorkshire Dales. With its charming cobbled main street, comprehensive Information Centre and a good selection of shops selling local specialities, you will find more than enough for a fun family outing. There are also numerous pubs serving some fine Yorkshire Ales and some delicious home-cooked treats to be had. Prior to Christmas, Grassington holds a series of Dickensian Days on Saturdays throughout December, making this North Yorkshire caravan park the perfect destination for a festive holiday break. Yorkshire Tour

Wharfedale Club Campsite
Just spent 3 nights of our 2 week Yorkshire tour at this beautiful site. Wardens very polite and helpful. Was very disappointed to find 'travelling ' persons on site with one van, a pick up truck, 3 cars and 2 caravans taking up 4 spaces. The usual dog kennels, toys and rubbish was lying about their pitch. They stoid by the washing drying machines for 9 hours one day with 11 bags of washing and for 3 days prevented others from using the facilities. One if them was also uplifting washing from off site !!!! Not good.

Excellent site.

Wharfedale Club Campsite
We visit Wharfedale site at least twice a year. It is located in very beautiful countryside with a fuel station, small Spar supermarket and a local butchers and bakers only a 15 minutes walk away. The wardens are very welcoming, friendly and efficient when carrying out their duties. It is situated about 2 miles from Grassington with its restaurant’s, pubs and Tourist Information shop. The only disappointment is that tv programmes are very limited. Although, the Warden told me that they are aware of this and the issue will be rectified very shortly. We are looking forward, very much to our next visit.

Love this site, but …..

Wharfedale Club Campsite
We’ve been going to Wharfedale for over 30yrs and always enjoy our stays in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. The site is absolutely fine and the staff are very friendly. It’s a shame that the Club are trying to save a few pounds by closing all the bin areas on their sites. At Wharfedale it’s a very long walk from the far end of the site to the bins at the entrance! I’ve seen members on this site and other sites this year drive their cars to the bins. This is understandable, especially for the elderly or anyone with mobility issues. Surely the club charges enough to be able to pay the wardens to empty the bins at the service points? All it does is increase traffic movement on site which isn’t ideal. Also, on our latest visit there were a couple of traveller caravans on the site. I guess if they are members then they are entitled to stay on club sites, however they should stick to the same rules that other club members have to. I’m sure the wardens would soon have a word with me if I parked a car, a van and a caravan on my pitch, and if I permanently used an adjacent pitch to park another car? But the wardens just allowed them to get away with it, which is wrong.

Well maintained Site

Wharfedale Club Campsite
This is a very well-maintained site with lovely Wardens. Nice clean facilities including the disabled ones. Nice walks off-site. The phone signal is not the best but can ask for everything lol.

Lovely site

Wharfedale Club Campsite
After a long journey received a warm welcome onto this busy site. Staff very helpful at all times. Facilities always very clean and tidy. Good base for walking in the dales with a bus stop nearby to give more variety. Easy walk to very good Spar shop at Threshfield. I feel we will return. Only negative, why are more people cutting across occupied pitches, not sensible or polite.
