There's very much a water-themed aspect to Shawsmead Club Campsite as its close proximity to the coast and quaint little bays means swimming and water sports will be filling up much of your holiday time here. A peaceful meadowland campsite, you'll feel positively tiny amongst the vast open areas and wondrous views towards the coast.
Shawsmead Club Campsite in Wales situated next to the lovely village of Derwen-Gam, and is close to the Heritage Coastal Paths - a memorable experience as is the fishing and bird watching available. Along the coast, there are plenty of beaches and little coves to explore. Four golf courses nearby and the local craft centres will keep the senses stimulated. Its locality in Llanarth, Oakford means that you're never far away from the delights of the area. The campsite is close to Aberaeron, an old-fashioned small town with a sleepy harbour, pebbled beach and Regency cottages painted in pastel shades. New Quay will resonate with the artist within you with a backdrop that comes straight out of an oil painting. It's better known as a traditional fishing village where fish, lobsters and crab are part of the daily catch.
Please note: Reception at this site closes at 6pm - latest arrival time is 8pm. If you will be arriving between 6pm - 8pm, please contact the site during the day of arrival before 6pm. The site team will be happy to provide you with your check in information.

From North: turn left off A487 (Aberaeron - Llanarth) just before Llanarth into the road signposted Ystrad Aeron. Do not turn onto any other road signposted Oakford. In 0.5 mile at the crossroads continue straight ahead. The Site is on right in 1.25 miles. From South: turn right off the A487 (signposted Ystrad Aeron) to crossroads; then as from North. From East: turn left off A482 (Lampeter - Aberaeron) in Aberaeron onto A487 (Cardigan); then as from North. Do not turn left off A482 before Aberaeron town centre. Recommended route on leaving with outfit: turn left out of site, in about 1.25 miles at crossroads (caution required) continue straight ahead onto A487.
